What a coincidence that all visitors won their games.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Oslo: Ammerud (#3) and Oslo Tigers (#6). Oslo Tigers were smashed at home by 18 points 42-60 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Ammerud held Oslo Tigers to an opponent 22.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 34.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Ammerud forced 19 Oslo Tigers turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Kristina Kroge (177-87) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Sara Grindelid (183-82) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Ammerud's coach Morten Sanden used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Eeva-Maria Mannikkoe (-83) produced 8 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts. Ammerud maintains third position with 9-5 record having five points less than leader Gimle. Oslo Tigers lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Ammerud are looking forward to face Ulriken (#4) in Bergen in the next round. Oslo Tigers' supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Oslo to the arena Ullern.

Julie McCarthy contributed with 7 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Kristina Kroge (177-87) replied with 6 points and 7 rebounds for Ammerud. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ullern have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-2 record having 4 victories less than leader Gimle. Ammerud at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Ullern's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Oslo Oslo Tigers.
An exciting game was played in Bergen. First ranked Gimle faced 4th ranked Ulriken. Guests from Bergen (13-2) defeated host Ulriken (6-6) 89-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ulriken. Sthefany Thomas scored 28 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners. Stine Austgulen responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds. Gimle have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-2 record. Defending champion Ulriken keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Gimle will meet at home Ammerud (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Ulriken will play against Ammerud in Oslo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Gimle's next round opponent will be Ammerud (#3) in Oslo, which may be the game of the day.

Leader Gimle delivered the thirteenth victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked BC Asker (2-12) 74-50 in Rykkinn. Gimle had a 27-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. Nigerian center Justina Udenze (189-89, college: Cent.Conn.St.) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Argentinian-American guard Sthefany Thomas (173-89, college: Clemson) supported her with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Oslo: Ullern (#2) and Ammerud (#3). Ammerud was smashed at home by 43 points 30-73 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game without a history. Ullern led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ammerud to just 6 points in third quarter and to 12 points in second half. Ullern dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Ammerud's 22. Ullern forced 27 Ammerud turnovers and outrebounded them 48-29 including a 23-8 advantage in offensive rebounds.
