Ullern IF Oslo (Kvinneligaen) landed 25-year old former Norwegian international power forward Tori Halvorsen (187-88, college: American). Its actually her comeback to Oslo as she played here before. Halvorsen played recently at Sallen in Swedish Damligan. In 6 games this season she averaged 3.3ppg and 1.5rpg. The last season she played at The American University in Patriot League in the NCAA. In 31 games last year she had 3.9ppg and 3.1rpg. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals.
Halvorsen was also a member of Norwegian international program for some years. She played for Norwegian Senior National Team back in 2007 and previouslyfor U18 National Team in 2006. Halvorsen represented Norway at the Qualifications to European Championships Division B 2011 three years ago. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 4.0ppg, 1.7rpg.
Halvorsen graduated from American University in 2012 and it is her first season in pro basketball.

Former international Forward Maren Hoff Austgulen (182-F-91) had a great game in the last round for Ulriken and that's her to receive a Player of the Week award for round 4. The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 21 points and sixteen rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Bergen (#6, 0-4) with 30-point margin 86-56. Kvinneligaen Round 4: Ullern beats Hoybraten in a derby game - 6 days ago

It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in Kvinneligaen, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders. The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Oslo: Ullern (#2) and Hoybraten (#4). Ullern (3-0) smashed visiting Hoybraten (1-3) by 43 points 80-37. Selvik number one in Norway for round 3 - 13 days ago

Forward Ingrid Selvik (178-F-92) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Asker, receiving a Player of the Week award for round 3. The 24-year old player had a double-double of 15 points and 19 rebounds, while her team outclassed Hoybraten (#4, 1-2) with 32-point margin 74-42.
