23-year old center Justina Udenze (189-C-89) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Gimle and receives a Player of the Week award for round 15.
She had a double-double of 18 points and 23 rebounds, while her team crushed Ammerud (#3, 9-7) with 21-point margin 72-51. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Gimle to consolidate first place in the Norwegian Kvinneligaen. Gimle have a solid 14-2 record. Udenze turned to be Gimle's top player in her first season with the team. Central Connecticut State College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Udenze. Udenze is in league's top in points (2nd best: 12.0ppg), assists (3rd best: 1.0apg) and averages solid 3.0bpg.

Second best performed player last round was Stine Austgulen (179-G-94) of Ulriken. She is a guard in her 5th season at Ulriken. In the last game Austgulen recorded impressive 34 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course Ulriken cruised to a 79-69 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Ammerud (#3, 9-7). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Ulriken consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. Her team's 7-6 record is not bad at all. Austgulen is one of the most experienced players at Ulriken and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Julie McCarthy (187-C-93) of league's second-best Ullern. McCarthy scored 16 points and grabbed ten rebounds. She was a key player of Ullern, leading her team to a 87-34 easy win against the lower-ranked Oslo Tigers (#6, 1-14). Ullern is closer and closer to the top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 10-2 record is not that bad... The season just started for McCarthy as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be team's leader.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Tina Moen (181-G-86) of Ullern - 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
