The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets.

An interesting game for Centrum (13-6) which hosted in Oslo 4th placed Froya Basket (9-10). Second ranked Centrum managed to get a 11-point victory 83-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Froya Basket. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-72. Centrum outrebounded Froya Basket 47-36 including 37 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for guard Thomas Ble (185-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Forward Marko Lepovic (194-94) contributed with 11 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Latvian point guard Reno Silavs (180-91) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds for Froya Basket. Centrum maintains second place with 13-6 record behind leader Tromso. Defending champion Froya Basket keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. Centrum's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Oslo Ammerud Bskt.
The game in Asker was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Baerum Basket (11-9) played at the court of 6th ranked Asker Aliens (7-10). Baerum Basket managed to secure a 9-point victory 82-73. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Asker Aliens. Point guard Stian Mjos (182-89) stepped up and scored 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Ryan Ferranti chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Baerum Basket's coach Mathias Eckhoff allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Swedish forward Elias Westerlund (197-88) with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Baerum Basket maintains third place with 11-9 record having just 0 points less than leader Tromso. Asker Aliens at the other side keep the sixth position with ten games lost. Baerum Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Asker Aliens will play again on the road against Baerum Basket (#3) in Bekkestua and hope to get back on the winning track.

Reno Silavs nailed 29 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Ronald Timus came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for Ammerud Bskt in the defeat. Ammerud Bskt's coach Kelvin Woods gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 9-10 record. Ammerud Bskt lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Froya Basket will meet at home league's leader Tromso in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ammerud Bskt's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Oslo to the arena Centrum.



Asker Aliens - Baerum Basket 73-82

The game in Asker was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Baerum Basket (11-9) played at the court of 6th ranked Asker Aliens (7-10). Baerum Basket managed to secure a 9-point victory 82-73. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Asker Aliens. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Point guard Stian Mjos (182-89) stepped up and scored 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and American swingman Ryan Ferranti (195-86, college: Rollins) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Baerum Basket's coach Mathias Eckhoff allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
