The Regular Season in 1Div. is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds.
The most exciting game of round 13 in the 1Div. took place in Trondheim. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked Persbraaten (6-6) to sixth ranked Sverresborg (4-11) 81-79 on Sunday evening. Newly promoted Sverresborg maintains sixth place with 4-11 record. Persbraaten lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with six games lost. They share it with Fyllingen BBK and Hoybraten. Sverresborg will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Persbraaten will play at home against the league's second-placed Fyllingen BBK and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Very important is a road loss of third ranked Hoybraten (6-6) against fourth ranked Fyllingen BBK (6-6) on Sunday night. Visiting Hoybraten was crushed by Fyllingen BBK in Fyllingen 87-57. Fyllingen BBK moved-up to second place, which they share with Persbraaten and Hoybraten. Fyllingen BBK will play against league's leader Miners in Kongsberg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Baerum Basket triumphs at BLNO Finals. Tromso was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 47-26 second half run of Baerum Basket. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Stian Mjos (182-89) who helped to win the game recording 26 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American swingman Ryan Ferranti (195-86, college: Rollins) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Baerum Basket players scored in double figures.
