24-year old guard Gary Wallace (187-G-88, agency: TSS Management) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Tromso and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 25. He had the game-high 26 points adding seven rebounds and eight assists for Tromso in his team's victory, helping them to beat Froya Basket (#4, 11-11) 97-82. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Tromso to consolidate first place in the Norwegian league. Tromso have a solid 19-4 record. It's Wallace's second year at Tromso and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Robert Morris University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Wallace is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.5ppg), rebounds (8th best: 6.3rpg) and assists (4th best: 3.9apg).
Second best performed player last round was Ryan Ferranti (195-F/G-86) of Baerum Basket. He is American swingman in his second season at Baerum Basket. In the last game Ferranti recorded impressive double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he lead Baerum Basket to another comfortable win 92-75 over slightly higher-ranked Centrum (#2, 16-8) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Baerum Basket consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 13-10 record is not bad at all. Ferranti is well-known at Baerum Basket and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Mustafa Mahnin (182-PG-80) of league's second-best Centrum. Mahnin scored 25 points. He was a key player of Centrum, leading his team to a 103-88 easy win against the lower-ranked Asker Aliens (#6, 7-15). Centrum needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 8 lost games. Mahnin has a great season in Norway. After 20 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.3apg (6th best).

Ammerud celebrated the Bronze medals as they knocked down Gimle in the consolation final. Gimle BBK trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 15 after three quarters before a 28-22 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 80-89 at the end of the game. Ammerud Bskt looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Mookie Rivelino (194-84, college: Quincy) fired 32 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American-Somalian point guard Zaki Ise Mohamed (183-87, college: New Hampshire) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 assists and 4 steals. Rivelino is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Magne Fivelstad (198-89, college: Barry) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds and American forward Bryan Coleman (198-92, college: Wayne St., MI) added 23 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Gimle BBK's coach Audun Eskeland rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
