The game between Top Four teams took place in Laksevag. Second ranked host Froya Basket (6-2) smashed 4th ranked Centrum (4-4) 97-69. The game without a history. Froya Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Centrum's 34. They outrebounded Centrum 39-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. American forward Jamell Harris (206-91, college: E.Michigan) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Latvia guard Edmunds Gabrans (188-79) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Froya Basket's coach Brent Hackman felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was point guard Magnus Midtvedt (182-90) with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Froya Basket maintains second position with 6-2 record having just two point less than leader Kongsberg. Defending champion Centrum dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with Nidaros Jets. Froya Basket are looking forward to face Asker Aliens (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Centrum will play against Nidaros Jets in Tromdheim and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
BLNO top team - Kongsberg (6-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat eighth ranked Tromso (2-5) 74-69. Cuba-American guard Juan Ferrales (188-91, college: Barry) notched 29 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Oivind Lundestad supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Kongsberg's coach Bard Stoller allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even a double-double of 16 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists by guard Hani Issalhi (191-84) did not help to save the game for Tromso. Kongsberg have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Tromso at the other side keeps the eighth place with five games lost. Kongsberg will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tromso will play at home against Gimle BBK (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Persbraten (0-5) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to eighth ranked Tromso (2-5) 89-63 on Sunday evening. It was a good game for Djo Yele who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Coach Lars Gunnar Sonsteby's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Asker Aliens have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 3-4 record. Nidaros Jets lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with four games lost. Asker Aliens' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Froya Basket in Laksevag and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Nidaros Jets will play at home against Centrum and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Bergen was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Centrum (4-4) played at the court of sixth ranked Gimle BBK (4-2). Gimle BBK did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 97-78 on Saturday. Magne Fivelstad scored 9 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Gimle BBK have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Defending champion Centrum dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Gimle BBK will face Tromso (#8) on the road in the next round. Centrum will play against Nidaros Jets in Tromdheim and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 6 Nidaros Jets was destroyed by Baerum Basket on the opponent's court 99-76. Ammerud Bskt were outscored by Baerum Basket in a home game 84-113.

Everything could happen in Bekkestua at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Baerum Basket and 5th ranked Nidaros Jets had identical 4-3 record. This time Baerum Basket used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Tromdheim 99-76 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Baerum Basket. Nidaros Jets was better in second period 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
