The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with change at the leadership position, derby games and games ending by tiny margin.

First defeat of Kongsberg (7-1) against second ranked Froya Basket (8-3) 74-66 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Kongsberg. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Kongsberg trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 17 after three quarters before a 20-11 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 66-74 at the end of the game. American forward Jamell Harris (206-91, college: E.Michigan) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Latvia guard Edmunds Gabrans (188-79) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Cuba-American guard Juan Ferrales (188-91, college: Barry) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for Kongsberg. Froya Basket keeps a position of league leader. Kongsberg at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Froya Basket. Kongsberg will play next round against strong Baerum Basket trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Froya Basket will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Nidaros Jets in Tromdheim.
Important game to mention about took place in Bergen. First ranked Kongsberg (7-1) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging one of their biggest challengers Gimle BBK (6-3) 102-99 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Gimle BBK. Worth to mention a great performance of Cuba-American guard Juan Ferrales (188-91, college: Barry) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and C.J. Oldham who added 23 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Swingman Magne Fivelstad (198-89, college: Barry) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Kongsberg have an impressive five-game winning streak. Despite that victory Kongsberg went down to second position due to points difference. Gimle BBK at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Baerum Basket. Kongsberg will play against Baerum Basket (#4) in Bekkestua in the next round. Gimle BBK will play at home against Nidaros Jets and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Oslo: Ammerud Bskt (#8) and Centrum (#6). Ammerud Bskt (3-6) won against visiting Centrum (4-6) 86-73. The winners were led by Marco Sanders who scored that evening 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Even 19 points and 6 rebounds by Miilah Kombat did not help to save the game for Centrum. Ammerud Bskt maintains eighth position with 3-6 record. Centrum lost fourth consecutive game. Defending champion dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. Ammerud Bskt will meet at home Tromso (#9) in the next round. Centrum's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Oslo to the arena Persbraten.
Bottom-ranked Persbraten is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to fifth ranked Nidaros Jets (6-4) 97-65. The best player for the winners was Evan Roquemore who scored 23 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals. Nidaros Jets maintains fifth position with 6-4 record. Newly promoted Persbraten still closes the standings with seven games lost. Nidaros Jets' next round opponent will be higher ranked Gimle BBK (#3) in Bergen and it may be quite challenging game. Persbraten's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Oslo Centrum.

They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Asker Aliens will face bottom-ranked Persbraten (#10) in Oslo in the next round. Tromso will play on the road against Ammerud Bskt in Oslo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Tromso - Asker Aliens 73-75

Important game to mention about took place in Tromso. Seventh ranked Asker Aliens (4-5) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 9th ranked Tromso (2-8) 75-73 on Sunday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Tromso won third quarter 23-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American point guard Nate Garth (188-89, college: UCSB) orchestrated the victory by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 5 assists. DR Congolese power forward Djo Yele (203-82) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Henrik Lange (189-95) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists and 8 steals and forward Anders Solem (196-92) added 21 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Tromso. Asker Aliens moved-up to sixth place. Tromso lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Asker Aliens will face bottom-ranked Persbraten (#10) in Oslo in the next round. Tromso will play on the road against Ammerud Bskt in Oslo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Bottom-ranked Persbraten is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to fifth ranked Nidaros Jets (6-4) 97-65. It looked good early as Persbraten took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Nidaros Jets had a 28-8 second period charge getting the lead and Persbraten was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 65-97. Nidaros Jets dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Persbraten's 34 and made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Nidaros Jets forced 22 Persbraten turnovers and outrebounded them 37-17 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds.
