Juan
Ferrales
25-year old guard Juan Ferrales (188-G-91) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Kongsberg and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14.
He had the game-high 24 points adding four rebounds and two assists for Kongsberg in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Centrum (#6, 8-9) with 37-point margin 91-54. It allowed Kongsberg to consolidate first place in the Norwegian league. Kongsberg have a solid 13-2 record. In the team's last game Ferrales had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Kongsberg's top player in his first season with the team. Barry University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ferrales is in league's top in points (3rd best: 24.6ppg), assists (3rd best: 5.5apg) and averages solid 58.2% FGP and 41.6% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Henrik Lange (189-G-95) of Tromso. He is a guard in his 6th season at Tromso. In the last game Lange recorded impressive 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. It was enough for Tromso to edge the higher-ranked Nidaros Jets (#4, 10-7) by 3 points 82-79. Tromso's 9th position in the standings has not changed. 12 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories Tromso managed to get this year. Lange is one of the most experienced players at Tromso and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Djo Yele (203-F/C-82) of Asker Aliens (#7). Yele scored 21 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Yele's great performance Asker Aliens lost 61-74 to the higher-ranked Baerum Basket (#2, 11-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Asker Aliens ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 8 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Yele could help Asker Aliens to bring them higher in the standings. Yele has a great season in Norway. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.3ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 13.8rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.9bpg and FGP: 59.1%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Alvis Eglitis (195-F-85) of Asker Aliens - 10 points and 17 rebounds
5. C.J. Oldham (203-G-91) of Kongsberg - 13 points and 9 rebounds
6. Magnus Midtvedt (182-PG-90) of Centrum - 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Stian Mjos (183-PG-89) of Baerum Basket - 26 points and 6 assists
8. Anders Solem (196-F-92) of Tromso - 13 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Thor Hagen (196-F-80) of Kongsberg - 8 points and 8 rebounds
10. Magne Fivelstad (198-G/F-89) of Gimle BBK - 15 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
