The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Kongsberg (20-3) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Gimle BBK (14-10) 82-77. It ended at the same time the 14-game winning streak of Kongsberg. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 26-22. But Kongsberg won second period 19-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Nick Victor (196-92, college: Yale) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Magne Fivelstad (198-89, college: Barry) contributed with 11 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Cuban-American guard Juan Ferrales (188-91, college: Barry) replied with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for Kongsberg. Gimle BBK moved-up to fourth place. Kongsberg at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Gimle BBK will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kongsberg will play at home against Asker Aliens and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Froya Basket (14-8) against fourth ranked Centrum (13-10) on Saturday night. Visiting Froya Basket was crushed by Centrum in Oslo 86-59. American forward Jeff Harper (203-87) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Centrum have a solid four-game winning streak. Despite that victory Centrum went down to fifth position due to points difference. Froya Basket at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. Centrum will again play against higher ranked Froya Basket (#3) in Laksevag in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
