There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in BLNO.

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Oslo. Second ranked Baerum Basket faced 4th ranked Centrum. Guests from Bekkestua (20-5) smashed host Centrum (15-11) 99-72. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Centrum. The game without a history. Baerum Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Baerum Basket forced 19 Centrum turnovers. American forward James Weatherspoon (198-92, college: Toledo) fired a double-double by scoring 43 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds for the winners. point guard Stian Mjos (183-89) chipped in 32 points and 4 assists. The former international forward Miilah Kombat (198-88, college: N.Idaho JC) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Baerum Basket have an impressive 18-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-5 record behind leader Kongsberg. Defending champion Centrum dropped to the fifth place with 11 games lost. Baerum Basket are looking forward to face league's leader Kongsberg on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Centrum will have a break next round.
The game in Tromso was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Asker Aliens (12-14) played at the court of eighth ranked Tromso (9-16). Tromso managed to secure a 4-point victory 91-87. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Hani Issalhi (191-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals. Aslak Smalas contributed with 27 points and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. DR Congolese power forward Djo Yele (203-82) replied with 24 points and 7 rebounds for Asker Aliens. Tromso maintains eighth position with 9-16 record. Asker Aliens at the other side keep the sixth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Nidaros Jets. Tromso will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Asker Aliens will play at home against Persbraten (#10) and hope to get back on the winning track.

In the last game of round 22 Nidaros Jets were crushed by Froya Basket in Laksevag 96-74.

Gimle BBK - Nidaros Jets 115-75

The game with biggest result difference took place in Bergen. Local Gimle BBK (15-10) outscored 7th ranked Nidaros Jets (12-14) 115-75 on Sunday night. The game without a history. Gimle BBK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Nidaros Jets' 22. Gimle BBK forced 20 Nidaros Jets turnovers and outrebounded them 48-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Nidaros Jets' players. American guard Nick Victor (196-92, college: Yale) scored 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Magne Fivelstad (198-89, college: Barry) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Gimle BBK players scored in double figures. Gimle BBK's coach Audun Eskeland felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Froya Basket - Nidaros Jets 96-74

There was no surprise in Laksevag where 7th ranked Nidaros Jets (12-14) were crushed by third ranked Froya Basket (16-9) 96-74 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Froya Basket. Nidaros Jets managed to win fourth quarter 27-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Nidaros Jets 52-31 including a 37-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Froya Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Nidaros Jets' players. Latvian guard Edmunds Gabrans (188-79) scored 21 points to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Jeff Harper (203-87) chipped in 13 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Harper is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Coach Brent Hackman's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American guard Kahlil McDonald (194-87, college: W.Kentucky) responded with 22 points and 5 rebounds and Christian Dischington (188-99) scored 20 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Froya Basket maintains third position with 16-9 record having five points less than leader Kongsberg. Nordberg, Fyllingen BBK and Aalesund Sharks celebrated Division 1 titles in Norway. Nordberg won Division 1 East title with a 19-3 record. In the last game they beat OSI 57-51 as Bendik Aunan (185-PG-90) stepped up with 14 points. Halvor Poulsson (191-F-91) and Emil Aas Stoltenberg followed him with 13 each, while Joacim Bergh added 8.
