The Regular Season in BLNO just started.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Nidaros Jets (0-1) in Laksevag on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Froya Basket (1-0) 98-87. Froya Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Nidaros Jets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Nikolas Skouen (190-90, college: Pepperdine, agency: Duran International) fired 38 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Guard Arne Ingebrigtsen (197-90, college: Cuesta JC) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Brage Vejlgaard (205-97) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds for lost side. Froya Basket is looking forward to face Asker Aliens on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nidaros Jets will play against Tromso (#10) and are hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
Another exciting game was played in Oslo between Fyllingen BBK and Ammerud Bskt where Fyllingen BBK (1-0) crushed Ammerud Bskt (0-1) on the road with 40-point difference 102-62. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian guard Ognjen Nisavic (195-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. Brede Ellingsen contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Latvian forward Karlis Helmanis (200-97) answered with 12 points and 7 rebounds for Ammerud Bskt. Ammerud Bskt's coach Mustafa Mahnin gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Fyllingen BBK will play against Centrum (#8) in Oslo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ammerud Bskt will play on the road against Baerum Basket in Bekkestua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Juan Ferrales stepped up and scored 25 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. At the losing side Magnus Midtvedt responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kongsberg will meet at home Gimle BBK (#4) in the next round. Centrum will play against Fyllingen BBK and hope to win that game.
We should not miss the game where Asker Aliens (1-0) against Baerum Basket (0-1) where guest Asker Aliens crushed their opponents by 40 points 102-62. Aksel Bolinz nailed 26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Asker Aliens' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Asker Aliens' next round opponent will be Froya Basket in Laksevag and it will be for sure the game of the week. Baerum Basket will play at home against Ammerud Bskt (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 1 winless Tromso lost to undefeated Gimle BBK in Bergen 66-75.
