There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in BLNO.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Froya Basket (1-1) on the court of Asker Aliens on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Asker Aliens 85-79. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Froya Basket's 36. They outrebounded Froya Basket 57-31 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Aksel Bolinz (201-90, college: N.Illinois) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 28 rebounds and 4 assists. DR Congolese forward Djo Yele (203-82) contributed with 21 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Latvian guard Edmunds Gabrans (188-79) replied with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for Froya Basket. Asker Aliens is looking forward to face Kongsberg (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Froya Basket will play against Ammerud Bskt and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another interesting game for Ammerud Bskt (1-1) which played in Bekkestua against Baerum Basket (0-2). Ammerud Bskt won 67-58. British center Morakinyo Williams (210-88, college: Citadel, agency: Interperformances) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Karlis Helmanis chipped in 16 points during the contest. Ammerud Bskt's coach Mustafa Mahnin used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Stian Mjos (183-89) responded with 39 points (!!!). Ammerud Bskt will play against Froya Basket (#6) in Laksevag in the next round. Baerum Basket will play on the road against Fyllingen BBK to get more than just one victory in their record.

Ognjen Nisavic notched 30 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 39 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds (on 15-of-19 shooting from the field) by Magnus Midtvedt did not help to save the game for Centrum. Centrum's coach Inge-Aleksander Kristiansen gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Fyllingen BBK will meet at home Baerum Basket (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Centrum will have a break next round.
The game in Kongsberg was also worth to mention about. Gimle BBK (1-1) played at the court of Kongsberg (2-0). Kongsberg did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 95-76. The best player for the winners was Fred Thomas who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Kongsberg's next round opponent will be Asker Aliens at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gimle BBK will play against Baerum Basket and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 2 bottom-ranked Tromso beat Nidaros Jets on the road 78-70.

Nidaros Jets - Tromso 70-78

But Nidaros Jets were not able to use a home court advantage and were defeated by the opponent from Tromso 78-70. The best player for the winners was guard Hani Issalhi (187-84) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Guard Henrik Lange (192-95) chipped in 17 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. Guard Simon Midtvedt (180-96) produced 27 points and Australian guard Joel Spear (192-94, college: S.Oregon) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Centrum - Fyllingen BBK 84-117

The game in Oslo supposed to be also quite interesting. Fyllingen BBK (2-0) played at the court of Centrum (0-2). Fyllingen BBK smashed Centrum 117-84 on Sunday. Fyllingen BBK dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Centrum's 54. Fyllingen BBK forced 20 Centrum turnovers and outrebounded them 37-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. Serbian guard Ognjen Nisavic (195-92) notched 30 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Brede Ellingsen (189-88) supported him with 25 points and 6 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field). Five Fyllingen BBK players scored in double figures. Even 39 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds (on 15-of-19 shooting from the field) by guard Magnus Midtvedt (182-90) did not help to save the game for Centrum. Guard Johan Flaa (183-99) added 14 points for the hosts. Centrum's coach Inge-Aleksander Kristiansen gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kongsberg - Gimle BBK 95-76

The game in Kongsberg was also worth to mention about. Gimle BBK (1-1) played at the court of Kongsberg (2-0). Kongsberg did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 95-76. Kongsberg shot 60.3 percent from the field. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. Kongsberg brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American guard Fred Thomas (196-93, college: Mississippi St.) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Cuban-American guard Juan Ferrales (187-91, college: Barry) chipped in 16 points and 8 assists. Five Kongsberg players scored in double figures. American forward Lorenzo Cugini (198-93, college: High Point) produced 26 points and 7 rebounds and guard Magne Fivelstad (198-89, college: Barry) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Kongsberg's next round opponent will be Asker Aliens at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gimle BBK will play against Baerum Basket and hope to win that game.
