With the 86-70 victory against Mexico the Greek national team won the group A in Turin, closing at the first place and reaching the semifinal. The men of coach Katsikaris played a really good second half, after 20 minutes of balance. Mexico collapsed in the third quarter (13-27), closing the group at second place thanks to the victory of yesterday vs Iran. The American team will challenge Italy for the semifinal. Greece waiting for the opponent of the semifinal, Tunisia or Croatia.

For the winners is Giannis Antetokounmpo (211-G/F-94, agency: Octagon Europe) the MVP with 21pts, good game also for his brother Thanasis with 12pts. Important also the help and the experience of Bourousis (16+9) and Calathes (7+4+7). For the Mexican 19pts of Cruz, 14+7 by Hernandez and 10pts of J.Gutierrez.
