Otis Hill (203-C-74, college: Syracuse) scored 18 points and Andrzej Pluta (182-G-74, agency: Court Side) had 15 for Anwil. We did a great job today, it's not easy to beat Prokom - said Ales Pipan, Anwil's coach. We wanted to stop Prokom's best scorers - Dalmau, Atkins and Slanina and we did thanks to tough and well balanced team-defence - he added. Prokom's leader Donatas Slanina had 14 points on 4-of-5 field shooting, Christian Dalmau added 9. We did not play as a team today, we were not organized offensively and in the defence, we need to work on it - commented Slanina. Prokom lost 33-25 on boards and made more mistakes. It was a good game, but we committed too many turnovers, my team played much below expectations - said coach Kijewski. The MVP of the tournament went to Andrzej Pluta.
