    R8 Basket cruised past Slask at home court to celebrate 2Liga title. R8 Basket Krk. forced 21 Slask turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The former international center Michal Hlebowicki (204-76) scored 21 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Jakub Zalucki (194-89, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 26 points during the contest. Forward Tomasz Zelezniak (198-98) responded with 17 points and point guard Jakub Musial (186-98) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

    AZS Politechnika Krakow claim PZKosz Cup - Dec 30, 2016


    AZS Politechnika Krakow celebrated the PZKosz Cup title. They beat Katy Wroclawskie 87:51 in the Final. Jakub Zalucki (194-G/F-89, agency: Octagon Europe) notched 26 points to lead the winners. He was named the MVP.
    AZS Politechnika Krakow built a comfortable 28:7 lead ten minutes into the game. They extended the gap at 30-point mark heading into the fourth quarter. AZS Politechnika Krakow nailed 24 points in the final term to cruise to the victory. Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-F-88) tossed in 15 points, while Michal Hlebowicki (204-C-76) added 13 points for the winners. Wojciech Suprun (203-C-82) responded with 15 points for Katy Wroclawskie. Lukasz Bartnicki (175-G/F-89) chipped in 10 points in the loss.
