Wisla Can-Pack Krakow triumph at 2011/2012 Finals. The Winner of the Regular Season swept the series over CCC Polkowice 4-0 after 56:50 victory in Game 4. Ewelina Kobryn (193-C-82) was named MVP of the Finals. CCC Polkowice had nothing to lose in the series and started better in the game. The hosts won the opening period 16:9, but failed later in the game. Wisla won the second period 17:14 and reduced to 4 points at the halftime. Moreover they tied the game at the end of the third period after 14-11 in the quarter. Due to 16-9 in the last stanza Wisla triumphed in the Finals. Erin Phillips (173-G-85) top-scored for the winners with 15 points and Taj McWilliams-Franklin (189-C-70, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: St.Edward's) added 13. Magdalena Leciejewska (191-C-86) notched 8, while Ewelina Kobryn posted 6. Walerija Valeriya Musina (183-G-87, college: Lee) and Evanthia Maltsi (180-F-78, agency: Josep and Nicolas) replied with 12 points each in the losing effort.

There was no surprise in the final game of the Polish Cup. TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow beat Lotos Gdynia 81:76 after very interesting game. In this season Final Four Tournament is called ViaSMS.pl cup. The MVP of the game was delegated to Nicole Powell (188-G/F-82, agency: LBM Management, college: Stanford). Her teammate Ewelina Kobryn (193-C-82) was selected MVP of the entire Final Four Polish Cup - ViaSMS.pl tournament.
TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow made a great start in this game. Coach Javier Fort (agency: FCM ) called timeout very quickly, but his team was not able to stop the TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow run. After 7 minutes player from Krakow were up by 12 points 16:4. Then Lotos Gdynia reduced a lost a little bit, but after first period they had 7 points disadvantage.
The second quarter was more aligned. Neither team was able to win this period. In the middle of the show TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow was up by 7 43:36.
In the third quarter Lotos Gdynia started playing more aggressive and team was able to reduce the lost. With 3 minutes to play in the third quarter Lotos Gdynia had taken one point lead - first time in the game. Then both teams were playing basket for basket. The game was very enjoyable.
That was a very close game. With 1 minute left Erin Phillips (173-G-85) made a decisive 3 point shoot. After her shoot the score was 77-74 for her team. Finally TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow wonthe game against Lotos Gdynia 81:76. This team was playing better in the last 2 minutes and this team clinched win and Polish Cup.
Poland national team have won the PLKK All Star Game against PLKK Star Team 74:70. PLKK Stars Team was collected from foreigner basketball players from all league teams. Fans chose starting five of this team. Tittle MVP of the game granted for Agnieszka Bibrzycka (184-F/G-82, agency: Data Plus Group, college: Abil.Christian) (184-F/G-82, agency: Data Plus Group, college: Abil.Christian), who noticed 16 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. This game was a debut for Jacek Winnicki as a coach of polish national women team.
Most of the time Poland had an advantage, but Stars were able to get back in this game few times. After first period PLKK Stars were up by 1 20:21. In the second quarter polish players elaborated 9 points advantage. Coach of the league stars team Jose Ignacio Hernandez called a timeout, but his team was still down. Thanks to great performance by Weronika Idczak (177-G-89) Poland won the first half 41:34.
In the middle of the show league organized three points shoot contest. After semi-finals and grand final tittle stayed with Laurie Koehn (173-G-82, college: Kansas St.) (She won this contest one year ago) for another year. In final she beat Ivana Jalcova (182-G-83) 12:10.
Third quarter was very aligned both team were playing basket for basket. Before the last quarter the score was 57:49 for Polish National Team. The fourth period was the most interesting in the game. Both teams were playing more carefully, especially in the defense. With 7 minutes to play Aneika Henry (193-C-86, college: Florida) made another shot for PLKK Stars and her team was up by to 57:59. Stars made great, 10:0 run. Thanks to better execution Poland was able to get back on the lead. Polish players made better teamwork. Finally, Poland national team won this game 74:70.
But PLKK All Star Weekend is not only the game. Players met children in hospital. League organized an event in shopping center close to the arena - players were fighting with people in free throws.
