    Stelmet ZG - Torun 88-82

    Stelmet Zielona Gora repeated as PLK champions. They overcame Torun in Game 5 of the title series to capture the trophy. The hosts trailed by 11 points after three quarters before their 32-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Stelmet shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 59.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Armani Moore (193-94, college: Tennessee) stepped up and scored 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Lukasz Koszarek (187-84) chipped in 13 points and 8 assists. Five Stelmet players scored in double figures. American-Hungarian point guard Obadiah Trotter (188-84, college: Alabama A&M) responded with 14 points and 7 assists and Senegalese center Cheikh Mbodj (208-87, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

    Stelmet Zielona Gora celebrated Polish Cup title. They crushed Anwil Wloclawek 79-57 in the final played in Warsaw. Lukasz Koszarek (187-PG-84) scored 8 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, dished out 3 assists and earned MVP award. Karol Gruszecki (193-G/F-89, college: Texas Arlington) and Nemanja Djurisic (203-PF-92, college: Georgia) scored 12 points each for the winners. James Washington (182-PG-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) responded with 15 points for Anwil.

    Rosa Radom got to the winning start of the official season. They stunned Stelmet Zielona Gora to conquer the SuperCup trophy. Tyrone Brazelton (183-PG-86, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Higher Vision Sports) nailed 30 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and issued 4 assists to lead the winners.
    Rosa Radom posted a 20:15 lead after the opening frame. Stelmet ZG picked up the tempo in the second term. They pulled within 2 points at the big break 38:40. But Rosa Radom were back in the driver's seat in the third quarter. They opened a 7-point lead heading into the fourth stanza. Stelmet ZG got within two points late in regulation but Tyrone Brazelton went perfect from the stripe and sealed the victory for Rosa Radom. Gary Bell (190-G-92, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 18 points, while Michal Sokolowski (196-F/G-92) added 13 points for the winners. James Florence (185-PG-88, college: Mercer, agency: Three Eye Sports) responded with 26 points for Stelmet ZG. Julian Vaughn (208-C-88, college: Georgetown) and Przemyslaw Zamojski (193-G/F-86, college: Independence CC) had 12 points each in the loss.
