Stelmet Zielona Gora celebrated TBL title. They rallied past Rosa Radom on the road to sweep the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Stelmet. Rosa managed to win second period 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Rosa 36-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin Nemanja Djurisic (203-92, college: Georgia) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: Mississippi St., agency: Three Eye Sports) who added 11 points and 6 assists during the contest and was named the Finals MVP. At the losing side international swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) responded with 17 points and guard Daniel Szymkiewicz (193-94) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Energa Czarni - Anwil 78-62

Energa Czarni earned the TBL Bronze medals. They held off Anwil to sweep the consolation final series. It looked good early as Anwil took a 11-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Energa Czarni took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 16 points. Anwil was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by American guard Demonte Harper (193-89, college: Morehead St.) who scored that evening 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import swingman Folarin Campbell (189-86, college: George Mason) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Energa Czarni players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds by Czech swingman David Jelinek (196-90) did not help to save the game for Anwil. The former international swingman Michal Chylinski (196-86, agency: Interperformances) added 12 points for lost side.

Rosa Radom clinched the Polish Cup title. They beat Stelmet ZG in the Final. C.J. Harris (191-SG-91, college: Wake Forest) came up with 23 points to pace the winners. He trumped the MVP.
Rosa Radom recorded a 22:17 lead ten minutes into the game. Stelmet ZG stiffened defensively in the second period. They held Rosa Radom to 9 points and evened things up at 31. Rosa Radom quickly regained the advantage. They went on a strong 24:11 run in the third term to record a 13-point lead. Stelmet ZG narrowed the distance in the final frame but could not avoid the defeat. Torey Thomas (178-PG-85, college: Holy Cross) and Igor Zaytsev (210-C/F-89) finished with 13 points each for the winners. Przemyslaw Zamojski (193-G/F-86, college: Independence CC) and Mateusz Ponitka (196-F/G-93) responded with 12 points each for Stelmet ZG.

Stelmet Zielona Gora clinch SuperCup title - Oct 7, 2015

Mateusz Ponitka (196-F/G-93, agency: Wasserman Media) converted a lay-up with 3 seconds left in regulation to seal the victory for Stelmet Zielona Gora in the Polish SuperCup. They outgunned Rosa Radom for the trophy. Mateusz Ponitka was pivotal with 26 points in the win.
Rosa Radom got to a strong start at home court. They built a 22:16 lead after the opening frame. Stelmet ZG however stiffened defensively in the second period. They held Rosa Radom to 14 points to get within 2 points at halftime 36:38. Rosa Radom stretched the lead in the third term. They accumulated a 58:52 lead at the final break. But Stelmet Zielona Gora denied the deficit and Mateusz Ponitka carried them to the victory. Dee Bost (188-PG-89, college: Mississippi St., agency: Three Eye Sports) netted 12 points, while Vlad Moldoveanu (206-PF-88, college: American, agency: Beo Basket) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the win. C.J. Harris (191-SG-91, college: Wake Forest) responded with 26 points for Rosa Radom. Torey Thomas (180-PG-85, college: Holy Cross, agency: Kappa Sports Mngm) tossed in 14 points in the defeat.
