An interesting game for Asseco Prokom (5-2) which hosted in Gdynia 3rd placed Zastal ZG (4-3). First ranked Asseco Prokom managed to get a 8-point victory 77-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zastal ZG. It was a key game for the top position in Group A. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 37-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Asseco Prokom dominated on the defensive end, holding Zastal ZG to just 7 points in third quarter. 32 personal fouls committed by Zastal ZG helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian power forward Donatas Motiejunas (213-90, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Jerel Blassingame (175-81, college: UNLV) contributed with 14 points and 5 assists for the winners. Asseco Prokom's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ivorian-Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) answered with 16 points and 4 assists for Zastal ZG. Defending champion maintains first place in Group A with 5-2 record, which they share with Trefl Sopot. Zastal ZG at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. Asseco Prokom is looking forward to face Energa Czarni (#5) in Slupsk in the next round. Zastal ZG will play at home against Anwil in Wloclawek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Trefl Sopot (5-2) which played road game in Wloclawek against 4th placed Anwil (3-4). Second ranked Trefl Sopot managed to get a 13-point victory 67-54. It was a great evening for American power forward John Turek (205-83, college: Nebraska) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Lukasz Koszarek helped adding 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side naturalized Bosnian forward Seid Hajric (203-83) responded with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Anwil's coach Krzysztof Szablowski rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Trefl Sopot keeps a position of Group A leader, which they share with Asseco Prokom. Anwil at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Trefl Sopot will play against PGE Turow (#6) in Zgorzelec in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Anwil will play on the road against Zastal ZG in Zielona Gora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Slask Wroclaw (22-13) which hosted in Wroclaw 3rd placed Kotwica (17-18). First ranked Slask Wroclaw had an easy win 95-68. It was an exceptional evening for Robert Skibniewski who led the winners and scored 23 points and 7 assists. Darrell Harris came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds for Kotwica in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Slask Wroclaw maintains first place in Group B with 22-13 record. Loser Kotwica keeps the third position with 18 games lost. Slask Wroclaw will meet Polpharma (#5) in the next round. Kotwica will play against AZS Politechnika Warszawska in Warszawa and hope to secure a win.
The game in Zgorzelec was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Energa Czarni (2-5) played at the court of sixth ranked PGE Turow (2-5). PGE Turow managed to secure a 9-point victory 83-74. Michal Chylinski fired 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. PGE Turow's coach Jacek Winnicki allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. PGE Turow moved-up to fifth place in Group A, which they share with defeated Energa Czarni. Energa Czarni lost fifth consecutive game. PGE Turow's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Trefl Sopot on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Energa Czarni will play against the league's leader Asseco Prokom in Gdynia.

Other games in round 7 were not that significant.
In Group B LKS Lodz was smashed by AZS Koszalin on the road 94-67. AZS PW lost to PBG Basket on its own court 72-89. Polpharma managed to outperform Siarka Jezioro in Starogard 100-90.
The most impressive performance of 7th round was 14 points, 11 assists and 4 steals by Krzysztof Szubarga of Anwil.
