Astoria Bydg. - AZS PP Poznan 74-83

AZS Poznan levelled things up against Astoria Bydgoszcz. The guests were already 14 points ahead at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 23-16 last quarter charge of Astoria Bydg. cut the lead to 83-74 at the end of the game. AZS PP Poznan forced 19 Astoria Bydg. turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. AZS PP Poznan brought some defensive toughness making 14 blocks. Point guard Pawel Hybiak (173-89) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 assists and 4 steals. Center Marek Sobkowiak (200-86) contributed with 8 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Mateusz Bierwagen (194-88) replied with 20 points and 5 steals and guard Pawel Lewandowski (186-83) added 9 points, 10 assists and 6 steals in the effort for Astoria Bydg.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Slask Wroclaw celebrated the second win in a row against Wegiel Stal. The hosts trailed by 11 points after three quarters before their 19-5 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Slask II W. dominated on the defensive end, holding BM Wegiel Stal to just 5 points in fourth quarter. Slask II W. forced 20 BM Wegiel Stal turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Slask II W. made 18 blocks. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Radoslaw Hyzy (203-77) who scored 23 points and 4 assists.
