TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow is completing clubs roster. On Thursday club announced that they agreed terms of contract with domestic forward Justyna Zurowska (188-F-85). Club lost two polish post players and had to hire some replace for them. Wisla Can-Pack Krakow already signed contracts with 7 players.
Justyna Zurowska is 27 years old forward. She started her professional career in KSSSE AZS PWSZ Gorzow Wlkp.. She had been playing for this team for 7 seasons. Justyna Zurowska was very connected with this town, but last year she changed the club. She signed the contract with Lotos Gdynia, where she was playing in 24 games. She averaged 9,5 points and 3,9 rebounds in 14 league games and 7 points and 3,4 rebounds in 10 Euroleague Women games.
Justyna Zurowska spend only half a season in Gdynia. In January she moved to Basket Landes (French league) . That was her first club abroad. She had played in 16 league games and 2 matches in EuroCup. In the French league she averaged 9,4 points and 7,1 rebounds.

Poland rout the Baltic State in Niemodlin for 2-0 record at the International home tournament. The Polish side needed a 62:52 and secured the first place after two games. Lithuania dropped at 1-1 and will need the win tomorrow against Ukraine to finish second.

Agnieszka Szott-Hejmej produced 8 points in the winning effort. Monika Grigalauskyte (190-PF-92) answered with 10 points for the guests and Giedre Paugaite had 9. Marina Solopova and Kamile Nacickaite (180-G-89, college: Drexel) poured in 7 points each, while Mante Kvederaviciute notched 6. Poland will play against Belarus tomorrow. Ukraine will face off against Lithuania.

Ukraine however needed a 26-21 surge in the third quarter for their lead, but Poland tied the game after 13-9 in the fourth quarter. In the first extra time both teams scored 7 points, while Poland grabbed the victory due to 13-9 in the second overtime. Agnieszka Skobel (179-F-89) top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Magdalena Leciejewska (191-C-86) netted 15. Magdalena Skorek (177-G-84, agency: Data Plus Group) delivered 14, while Agnieszka Majewska (195-C-82) had 11. Tomorrow Ukraine will take on Belarus, while Poland will play against Lithuania.
