Poland had won the first friendly game on Friday 59:53. One day later Germany took a revenge on polish players and won the second game by 18 62:44. Both teams will start
qualifications to the Eurobasket Women 2013 in the next weekend. Poland plays at home in Krosno. Germany will fight with Romania also at home .

Polish players were playing good in defense on Friday. After 5 minutes Poland had one point lead 7:6. Then Poland started to play with good execution. In the middle of the game
Poland was leading 37:21. In the third quarter Polish players stopped and German were able to reduce the lost. In the fourth period Germany was close to took the lead but Polish
players did not allow German to do it.

Agnieszka Skobel (179-F-89) led her team to win with 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 8 steals. Izabela Piekarska (196-C-85, college: UTEP) also showed a good performance with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Two German players ended the game with double figures: Katharina Fikiel and Sarah Austmann (179-G/F-85) ended the game with 12 points.

Saturdays game was very bad for Poland. Polish players were making easy mistakes. German made 19 points in fast-break. Poland did not made any fast-break in the whole game. It was a key-difference between these two teams.

German were playing hard in defense, forcing turnovers and scoring points with fast-breaks. Polish players had terrible execution especially in the third quarter. Poland scored only 5 points in the third period.

Poland started the game with 2 points but German answered with 12:0 run. Germany was able to elaborate 10 point lead in the first quarter. Then they were controlling the game.

Anne Breitreinerr led her team to win with 13 points (4/5 for 3) and 7 rebounds. Sarah Austmann also scored 13 points. Tina Menz added 10. Neither polish player was able to end the game with double figures. Agnieszka Makowska scored 9 points. Paulina Pawlak and Agnieszka Majewska (195-C-82) added 8 each.

TS Wisla Krakow (BLK) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old Romanian ex-international forward Claudia Pop (182-89, agency: Josep and Nicolas). TS Wisla Krakow (BLK) signed 27-year old Chilean ex-international center Ziomara Morrison (193-89). She played last season at Osmaniye Genclik in Turkish KBSL. In 29 TKBL games she had very impressive stats: 17.4ppg, 10.0rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1bpg. The previous (2015) summer Morrison was tested by Los Leones (Liga Femenina) in Chilean league. Wisla Krakow keeps Szott-Hejmej for another season - May 18, 2016

TS Wisla Krakow (BLK) re-signed 34-year old former international forward Agnieszka Szott-Hejmej (186-82). She has played there for the last three seasons. In 26 BLK games she averaged 3.3ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.3apg last season. Szott-Hejmej also played 12 games in Euroleague where she had 5.4ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.3apg.
