American power forward Rahshon Turner (201-F/C-75) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Siarka Jezioro, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 37-year old player was the main contributor (26 points, eight rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Kotwica (#10, 0-2) 94-90. Siarka Jezioro is placed at 2nd position in Polish TBL. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Siarka Jezioro won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Turner turned to be Siarka Jezioro's top player in his first season with the team. Former Fairleigh Dickinson University star has very solid stats this year. Turner is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 1.5apg) and averages impressive 75.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 24-year old American Frank Turner (178-PG-88, agency: Court Side) of Trefl Sopot. Turner had a very good evening with 18 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course he lead Trefl Sopot to another comfortable win outscoring Start Gdynia (0-2) 104-74. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Turner is a newcomer at Trefl Sopot, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Jawan Carter (180-PG-87) of Polpharma (#7). Carter scored 26 points. He was a key player of Polpharma, leading his team to a 87-80 win against Rosa Radom (#11, 0-2). Polpharma needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Carter has a great season in Poland. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.0ppg (7th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ben McCauley (206-F/C-86) of Polpharma - 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Lukasz Wisniewski (186-G-84) of AZS Koszalin - 21 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Pawel Leonczyk (202-F-86) of AZS Koszalin - 20 points and 8 rebounds
7. David Jackson (193-G-86) of PGE Turow - 15 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Zbigniew Bialek (203-F-82) of Polpharma - 21 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Walter Hodge (183-PG-86) of Stelmet ZG - 20 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists
10. Michal Jankowski (192-G-87) of Start Gdynia - 23 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
