Nigerian-American Charity Szczechowiak (191-C-85) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Artego Bydg. and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3. The 27-year old center had a double-double of 24 points and thirteen rebounds, while her team beat Lider Pruszkow (#10, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 69-62. Artego Bydg. is placed at 2nd position in Polish PLKK. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Artego Bydg. won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Szczechowiak turned to be Artego Bydg.'s top player in her first season with the team. Stephen F. Austin State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Szczechowiak. Szczechowiak is in league's top in points (4th best: 18.0ppg) and averages solid 2.5bpg,2.5spg and 51.7% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 23-year old American guard Kiara Buford (180-G-89, agency: Gamble Sports Management) of Lider Pruszkow. Buford impressed basketball fans with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Lider Pruszkow lost that game 62-69 to Artego Bydg. (2-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Buford is a newcomer at Lider Pruszkow and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.
The third best performed player last round was American Adrianne Ross (173-G-84, agency: Merit Sports) of Energa Torun (#5). Ross showcased her all-around game by recording 26 points, six rebounds and four assists in the last round. She was a key player of Energa Torun, leading her team to a 93-60 easy win against Widzew (#11, 0-3). Energa Torun needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost games. Ross has a great season in Poland. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (best scorer).
Other top performing players last week: 4. Chineze Nwagbo (183-G-82) of Gorzow - 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists 5. Sybil Dosty (191-C-86) of Gorzow - 16 points and 9 rebounds 6. Kristen Morris (190-F-87) of Artego Bydg. - 13 points and 10 rebounds 7. Magda Kaczmarska (183-F/G-90) of AZS Rzeszow - 11 points and 3 rebounds 8. Julie McBride (165-G-82) of Artego Bydg. - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists 9. Emilia Tlumak (183-F-82) of Energa Torun - 8 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists 10. Weronika Idczak (177-G-89) of Energa Torun - 19 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists

We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
