There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with favorites losing the games, games ending by tiny margin and even winless team recording their first victory.

The most exciting game of round 6 in the 2Liga took place in Warka. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 5th ranked Pulaski Warka (2-3) to top-ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (5-0) 82-80 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pulaski Warka. Pulaski Warka was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 26-23 charge of Tur Bielsk Pdl., which allowed them to win the game. Forward Kamil Zakrzewski (193-F-77) scored 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Aaron Weres (196-91) chipped in 24 points and 4 steals during the contest. Tur Bielsk Pdl.'s coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Maciej Piatek (198-83) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. Undefeated Tur Bielsk Pdl. have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of Group C leader, which they share with MCKiS Jaworz. Pulaski Warka at the other side keeps the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Novum Lublin and AZS AGH Alstom. Tur Bielsk Pdl. is looking forward to face league's leader MCKiS Jaworz. in Jaworzno in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pulaski Warka will play at home against Novum Lublin (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Pila. Fourth ranked Korsarz Gdansk (4-1) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Basket Pila (2-2) 84-81 on Saturday evening. Guard Jakub Zalucki (194-89) notched 28 points and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) to lead the effort and Mateusz Nitsche supported him with 27 points and 8 rebounds. Even 20 points by guard Bartosz Pochocki (189-90) did not help to save the game for Basket Pila. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Korsarz Gdansk keeps a position of Group A leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Basket Pila keeps the fifth place with two games lost. Korsarz Gdansk will play against Ksiezak Lowicz (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Basket Pila will play against GTK Gdynia and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Radom between Rosa II Radom and Wisla AWF Kr.. Fourth ranked Rosa II Radom (3-2) got a very close home victory over 8th ranked Wisla AWF Kr. (1-4). Rosa II Radom managed to escape with a 3-point win 76-73 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was Robert Cetnar who scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Rosa II Radom's coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Jakub Dwernicki who recorded 28 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Rosa II Radom maintains fourth position in Group C with 3-2 record. Wisla AWF Kr. lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with four games lost. They share the position with Legia. Rosa II Radom will meet at home Handlopex AZS (#10) in the next round where they are favorite. Wisla AWF Kr.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Krakow AZS AGH Alstom.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Wroclaw. One of their biggest challengers host WKK Wroclaw (3-2) lost to second ranked AZS AWF K-ce (5-1) 104-100. It was a good game for Mariusz Piotrkowski who led his team to a victory with 39 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). WKK Wroclaw's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. AZS AWF K-ce have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group B with 5-1 record behind leader Pogon Prudnik. WKK Wroclaw at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. AZS AWF K-ce will have a break next round. WKK Wroclaw will play on the road against the league's leader Pogon Prudnik and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 6:
In Group A MKS Skierniew. lost to Wilki Morskie on the opponent's court 79-88. GTK Gdynia was outscored by SMS PZKosz in a home game 64-101. Trefl II Sopot recorded a loss to Ksiezak Lowicz on the road 76-66.
In Group B winless Wschowa lost to undefeated Pogon Prudnik on its own court 67-74. Alba Chorzow was beaten by Sudety in Jelenia Gora 77-92. Nysa Klodzko lost to Tychy at home 60-77. HK Zory managed to outperform Mickiewicz on the opponent's court 91-82.
In Group C MCKiS Jaworz. managed to beat AZS AGH Alstom in a home game 83-69. Novum Lublin was defeated by Legia on the road 70-65. Winless Handlopex AZS was beaten by PWiK Piaseczno on its own court 76-87.


Group A
Suchy Las - Notec 58-86

Notec has finally registered their first victory this season after three consecutive loses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Suchy Las, where they outplayed Suchy Las (0-5) 86-58 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Notec. Suchy Las was better in fourth quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Suchy Las to just 6 points in third quarter. Notec made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Suchy Las turnovers. Suchy Las were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Very predictable result when first ranked SMS PZKosz (4-1) smashed on the road 8th ranked GTK Gdynia (1-3) 101-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. SMS PZKosz led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to GTK Gdynia's 36. SMS PZKosz forced 25 GTK Gdynia turnovers and outrebounded them 44-14 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by GTK Gdynia's players. Power forward Mikolaj Witlinski (207-95) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Damian Jeszke (202-95) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. A very close game took place in Radom between Rosa II Radom and Wisla AWF Kr.. Fourth ranked Rosa II Radom (3-2) got a very close home victory over 8th ranked Wisla AWF Kr. (1-4). Rosa II Radom managed to escape with a 3-point win 76-73 on Sunday evening. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-73. Rosa II Radom made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Rosa II Radom outrebounded Wisla AWF Kr. 38-23 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Robert Cetnar (197-88) who scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Center Lukasz Sobuta (209-92) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Four Rosa II Radom players scored in double figures. Rosa II Radom's coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Jakub Dwernicki (180-86) who recorded 28 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and guard Jakub Krawczyk (190-91) added 9 points and 4 steals respectively. Very predictable result in Jaworzno where top-ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (5-0) defeated 6th ranked AZS AGH Alstom (2-3) 83-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by MCKiS Jaworz.. AZS AGH Alstom was better in third quarter 23-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding AZS AGH Alstom to just 2 points in first quarter. AZS AGH Alstom was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Slawomir Klocek (191-84) scored 32 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Dawid Grochowski (190-89) chipped in 12 points during the contest. Legia's coach Piotr Bakun allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
