The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with change at the leadership position, extra overtimes, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

1Liga round 8 caused change at the leadership position. Second defeat of league's leader MKS DG (6-2) against second ranked Slask Wroclaw (7-1) 94-62 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of MKS DG. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Slask Wroclaw led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by MKS DG helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Point guard Marcin Flieger (182-84, agency: Promotex) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Lukasz Diduszko (197-86) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. point guard Grzegorz Grochowski (178-93) replied with 18 points for MKS DG.
