We bring you last week's top performances from Poles who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Michal Ignerski
Michal Ignerski
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Michal Ignerski (207-80, agency: Stanley International, college: Mississippi St., currently plays in Italy). He led Banco di Sardegna Sassari to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Air Avellino (2-5) crushing them 102-81 in the Italian SerieA in Sunday night's game. Ignerski recorded 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 27 minutes on the court. Banco di Sardegna Sassari (6-1) is placed second in the SerieA. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Ignerski has relatively good stats this year: 12.7ppg, 5.4rpg, 2FGP: 48.7%, 3FGP: 32.4% and FT: 75.0% in the seven games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Polish senior national team.

Marcin Gortat

Gortat also added 2 blocks. The Phoenix Suns have 4-6 record this season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Gortat has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 11.7ppg, 10.2rpg, 3.2bpg, 2FGP: 51.5% and FT: 70.8%. Gortat is in the roster of the Polish senior national team.

He contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Galil Gilboa (0-5) crushing them 94-62 in the Israeli Winner League on Sunday night. Logan scored 9 points in 22 minutes. Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv (4-1) is placed third in the Winner League. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen.
