Forward Lukasz Diduszko (197-F-86) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Slask Wroclaw, receiving a Eurobasket.com 1Liga Player of the Week award for round 9. The 26-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds, while his team crushed Znicz Basket (#13, 3-6) with 17-point margin 75-58. It allowed Slask Wroclaw to consolidate first place in the Polish 1Liga. Slask Wroclaw have a solid 8-1 record. In the team's last game Diduszko had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Slask Wroclaw's top player in his first season with the team. Lukasz Diduszko has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 9.4rpg) and averages impressive 1.3bpg and 70.4% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was 32-year old Michal Baran (185-G-80) of Sokol Lancut. Baran had a very good evening with a triple-double of 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. It was enough for Sokol Lancut to edge the lower-ranked Start Lublin (#14, 3-6) 76-72. Sokol Lancut's 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. Third on the list of top players last round was former international forward Wojciech Szawarski (195-F-76) of Stal Ostrow (#3). Szawarski scored 26 points. He was a key player of Stal Ostrow, leading his team to a 83-72 win against #4 ranked MKS DG in a game of the week. Stal Ostrow needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 2 lost games. Szawarski has a very solid season. In 9 games in Poland he scored 10.8ppg. He also has FGP: 56.7% and 3PT: 51.9%.

According to our sources Stelmet Zielona Gora (TBL) has just agreed the terms of contract with 26-year old naturalized French forward Aaron Cel (203-87). Cel spent last season at PGE Turow (TBL). In 43 games he had 10.3ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg this season. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. A very spectacular season in his career as he was selected Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Forward of the Year, named to 1st Team and to the All-Star Game. Cel also played 18 games in VTB United League where he recorded 9.2ppg and 6.7rpg. Cel has played also professionally for other French teams like Le Mans, Nantes, Etendard de Brest and Boulazac Basket.
