The most important game in the last round took place in Ostrow Wlkp. between third ranked Stal Ostrow (7-3) and thirteenth ranked Znicz Basket (4-6) on Saturday night. Stal Ostrow was defeated by Znicz Basket at home 81-70. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Stal Ostrow. Stal Ostrow was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Znicz Basket forced 21 Stal Ostrow turnovers. Point guard Adrian Sulinski (185-89, agency: Promotex) fired 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Swingman Marcin Matuszewski (194-82) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. point guard Marcin Dymala (185-90) produced 12 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Stal Ostrow's coach Mikolaj Czaja rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Znicz Basket moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Start Lublin and Spojnia. Newly promoted Stal Ostrow keeps the third position with three games lost. Znicz Basket is looking forward to face WIKANA Start (#12) in Lublin in the next round. Stal Ostrow will play on the road against UMKS Kielce (#15) and is hoping to win this game.
Leader Slask Wroclaw delivered the ninth victory. This time they beat 15th ranked UMKS Kielce (3-7) 78-62. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Radoslaw Hyzy (203-77) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds. Krzysztof Sulima contributed with 13 points for the winners. Forward Wojciech Miernik (194-88) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds for UMKS Kielce. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Slask Wroclaw (9-1) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Newly promoted UMKS Kielce dropped to the thirteenth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Astoria Bydg. and SKK Siedlce. Slask Wroclaw will play against league's second-placed AZS Kutno on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. UMKS Kielce will play against Stal Ostrow (#3) in Ostrow Wlkp. and hopes to get back on the winning track.
We should mention about the upset which took place in Lublin, where higher ranked MKS DG (6-4) lost to fourteenth ranked WIKANA Start (4-6) in a road game 74-85 on Saturday. Marcel Wilczek had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Grzegorz Grochowski responded with 17 points and 6 assists. WIKANA Start moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Znicz Basket and Spojnia. MKS DG lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. WIKANA Start will meet Znicz Basket (#11) in the next round. MKS DG will play against SKK Siedlce (#14) and hope to secure a win.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Siedlce. Local SKK Siedlce (3-7) was outscored by eighth ranked Sokol Lancut (6-4) 88-54. Damian Pieloch notched 27 points and 4 assists to lead the effort. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Lancut moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. SKK Siedlce lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Sokol Lancut's next round opponent will be Polonia (#9) in Przemysl where they are favorite. SKK Siedlce will play on the road against MKS DG (#4) in Dabrowa Gornicza.

Rest of the games of round 10 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
AZS Radex defeated Polonia in Szczecin 93-75. Astoria Bydg. was beaten by AZS Kutno at home 81-85. P.Cukier SIDEn won against MOSiR Krosno on the opponent's court 82-74. Spojnia managed to outperform AZS PP in a home game 97-79.
The best stats of 10th round was 21 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals by Tomasz Stepien of Spojnia.

Polonia - AZS Radex 75-93

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Przemysl where 8th ranked Polonia (5-5) was defeated by ninth ranked AZS Radex (5-5) 93-75. It looked good early as Polonia took an 7-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then AZS Radex had a 28-15 second period charge getting the lead and Polonia was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 75-93. Point guard Lukasz Pacocha (182-82, agency: Promotex) notched 20 points and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) to lead the effort and swingman Krzysztof Mielczarek (198-81) supported him with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five AZS Radex players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks by center Dariusz Wyka (207-91) did not help to save the game for Polonia. The former international guard Grzegorz Kukielka (192-83, agency: Promotex) added 18 points for lost side. Polonia's coach Maciej Milan tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. AZS Radex have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with defeated Polonia. AZS Radex's next round opponent will be higher ranked MOSiR Krosno (#6) at home and it may be quite challenging game.

Astoria Bydg. - AZS Kutno 81-85

No shocking result in a game in Bydgoszcz where second ranked AZS Kutno (8-2) defeated 14th ranked Astoria Bydg. (3-7) 85-81. The guests were already 14 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 31-21 Astoria Bydg.'s run in the last quarter cut the lead to 85-81 at the end of the game. AZS Kutno made 23-of-30 charity shots (76.7 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Astoria Bydg. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Jakub Dluski (200-87) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Dawid Brek (185-89, agency: Promotex) supported him with 13 points and 8 assists. Even 25 points and 6 rebounds by guard Mateusz Bierwagen (194-88) did not help to save the game for Astoria Bydg.. Forward Dorian Szyttenholm (194-83) added 9 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Astoria Bydg.'s coach Jaroslaw Zawadka tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. AZS Kutno have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 8-2 record behind leader Slask Wroclaw. Newly promoted Astoria Bydg. dropped to the thirteenth place with seven games lost. AZS Kutno's next round opponent will be league's leader Slask Wroclaw at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Astoria Bydg. will play against AZS PP (#16) in Pozoan.
