The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Wilki Morskie as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group A. Wilki Morskie smashed 5th ranked Trefl II Sopot in Szczecin 65-45. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Trefl II Sopot. The game was mostly controlled by Wilki Morskie. Trefl II Sopot managed to win second period 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Trefl II Sopot to just 6 points in third quarter. Wilki Morskie forced 23 Trefl II Sopot turnovers and outrebounded them 42-28 including 19 on the offensive glass.
