The most important game in the last round took place in Koszalin between second ranked Energa Czarni (7-4) and fourth ranked AZS Koszalin (7-3) on Sunday night. Energa Czarni was defeated by AZS Koszalin on the road 83-67. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 41-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. AZS Koszalin shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. American guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska) fired 16 points and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. International guard Lukasz Wisniewski (186-84, college: Barton County CC, agency: Promotex) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. AZS Koszalin's coach Teo Cizmic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Todd Abernethy (185-84, college: Mississippi) produced 17 points and 5 assists for lost side. AZS Koszalin have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Trefl Sopot. Energa Czarni at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. AZS Koszalin is looking forward to face Anwil (#7) in Wloclawek in the next round where they are favorite. Energa Czarni will play at home against Kotwica in Kolobrzeg and is hoping to win this game.
Bottom-ranked Rosa Radom managed to get a third victory, breaking the five-game losing streak. This time newly promoted Rosa Radom won against eighth-ranked Kotwica in Kolobrzeg 70-63. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Artur Donigiewicz (185-84) who helped to win the game recording 14 points. Kim Adams contributed with 3 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Sean Mosley (193-89, college: Maryland) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for Kotwica. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rosa Radom (3-8) moved-up to eleventh place. Kotwica at the other side keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Polpharma and Start Gdynia. Rosa Radom will play against higher ranked Stelmet ZG (#6) in Zielona Gora in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Kotwica will play on the road against Energa Czarni having rather not much hope for a victory.
The game in Starogard was also quite interesting. Seventh ranked Asseco Prok. (6-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Polpharma (3-7). Asseco Prok. managed to secure a 5-point victory 82-77 on Sunday. Lukasz Koszarek scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Lukasz Majewski responded with 25 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place. Loser Polpharma keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Kotwica and Start Gdynia. Asseco Prok. will meet at home higher ranked Trefl Sopot (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Polpharma will play against the league's leader PGE Turow (#1) in Zgorzelec and hope to secure a win.
The game in Zielona Gora was also worth to mention about. Second ranked PGE Turow (7-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Stelmet ZG (6-4). PGE Turow defeated Stelmet ZG 99-84. David Jackson notched 26 points (made all of his thirteen free throws !!!) to lead the effort. Stelmet ZG's coach Mihailo Uvalin rotated ten players saving starting five for next games. PGE Turow keeps a position of league leader. Stelmet ZG at the other side dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. PGE Turow's next round opponent will be Polpharma (#9) in Starogard and are hoping to win another game. Stelmet ZG will play on the road against Rosa Radom.

In the last two games of round 10 bottom-ranked Siarka Jezioro was defeated by Trefl Sopot in a road game 82-73. Start Gdynia was beaten by Anwil at home 69-76.
The best stats of 10th round was 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 8 assists by Walter Hodge of Stelmet ZG.

The game in Starogard was also quite interesting. Seventh ranked Asseco Prok. (6-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Polpharma (3-7). Asseco Prok. managed to secure a 5-point victory 82-77 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Polpharma won fourth quarter 29-27. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Polpharma 36-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. The former international point guard Lukasz Koszarek (187-84) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Austrian-Slovenian center Rasid Mahalbasic (211-90) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international forward Lukasz Majewski (199-82) responded with 25 points and naturalized Belgian center Aleksander Lichodzijewski (202-84) scored 12 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place. The game in Zielona Gora was also worth to mention about. Second ranked PGE Turow (7-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Stelmet ZG (6-4). PGE Turow defeated Stelmet ZG 99-84. The game without a history. PGE Turow led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 29-of-32 charity shots (90.6 percent) during the game. PGE Turow players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. 27 personal fouls committed by Stelmet ZG helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard David Jackson (193-86, college: W.Illinois) notched 26 points (made all of his thirteen free throws !!!) to lead the effort and the former international power forward Damian Kulig (206-87) supported him with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Five PGE Turow players scored in double figures. Even 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 8 assists by U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) did not help to save the game for Stelmet ZG. There was no surprise when 12th ranked Siarka Jezioro (2-8) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Trefl Sopot (7-3) 82-73. Siarka Jezioro was ahead by 4 points after three quarters before a 24-11 charge of Trefl Sopot, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 21 Siarka Jezioro turnovers. The former international forward Filip Dylewicz (202-80) notched a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and international swingman Adam Waczynski (199-89, agency: Limelight Hoops) supported him with 14 points. Trefl Sopot's coach Mariusz Niedbalski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 17 points by American guard J.T. Tiller (191-88, college: Missouri, agency: Limelight Hoops) did not help to save the game for Siarka Jezioro. Start Gdynia - Anwil 69-76

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Anwil (6-4) defeated on the road 10th ranked Start Gdynia (3-7) 76-69. It looked good early as Start Gdynia took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Anwil had a 20-16 second period charge getting the lead and Start Gdynia was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-76. 24 personal fouls committed by Start Gdynia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international point guard Krzysztof Szubarga (182-84) notched 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Lithuanian point guard Arvydas Eitutavicius (188-82, college: American) supported him with 13 points. Even 16 points by Bosnian-Israeli center Robert Rothbart (217-86, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) did not help to save the game for Start Gdynia. Guard Michal Jankowski (192-87) added 15 points for lost side. Start Gdynia's coach David Dedek let to play eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Anwil have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Stelmet ZG. Newly promoted Start Gdynia dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. Anwil's next round opponent will be league's second-placed AZS Koszalin at home and it may be quite challenging game. Start Gdynia will play against Siarka Jezioro (#12) in Tarnobrzeg.

Miasto Szkla Krosno (PLK) agreed terms with 26-year old Latvian international guard Davis Lejasmeiers (192-84kg-91). He moved there from Sodertalje Kings in Swedish Basketligan where he played this season. In 47 Basketligan games he had 10.9ppg, 2.9rpg and 4.0apg. Lejasmeiers helped them to make it to the final.
