The most exciting game of round 11 in the 1Liga took place in Szczecin. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 8th ranked AZS Radex (5-6) to sixth ranked MOSiR Krosno (7-4) 78-76 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of AZS Radex. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 22-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Forward Marcin Salamonik (202-F-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) contributed with 19 points and 4 steals for the winners. MOSiR Krosno's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Lukasz Biela (200-80) answered with 19 points and 5 rebounds for AZS Radex. MOSiR Krosno moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sokol Lancut and MKS DG. AZS Radex at the other side keeps the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. MOSiR Krosno is looking forward to face Polonia (#11) in Przemysl in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AZS Radex will play on the road against Spojnia in Stargard and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Slask Wroclaw (10-1) which played road game in Kutno against second-ranked AZS Kutno (8-3). First ranked Slask Wroclaw had an easy win 96-55. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of AZS Kutno. It was a great evening for the former international guard Pawel Kikowski (193-86, agency: Limelight Hoops) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Lukasz Diduszko helped adding 11 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Wojciech Glabas (207-90) responded with 10 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Slask Wroclaw have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-1 record. AZS Kutno at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with Stal Ostrow. Slask Wroclaw will play against bottom-ranked AZS PP (#16) in Pozoan in the next round which should be another easy win for them. AZS Kutno will play on the road against Stal Ostrow (#3) in Ostrow Wlkp. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between P.Cukier SIDEn (6-5) and Spojnia (5-6), which took place in Torun. Higher ranked P.Cukier SIDEn lost at home to tenth ranked Spojnia 75-84 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Hubert Pabian who led the winners and scored 16 points. Adam Lisewski came up with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for P.Cukier SIDEn in the defeat. P.Cukier SIDEn's coach Eugeniusz Kijewski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Spojnia moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser P.Cukier SIDEn dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. Spojnia will meet at home AZS Radex (#9) in the next round. P.Cukier SIDEn will play against Astoria Bydg. in Bydgoszcz and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 11: Astoria Bydg. beat AZS PP on the road 98-81. MKS DG destroyed SKK Siedlce on its own court 96-66. Start Lublin unfortunately lost to Znicz Basket in Pruszkow 65-73. Sokol Lancut managed to beat Polonia at home 65-60. Stal Ostrow defeated UMKS Kielce on the opponent's court 77-68.

AZS Radex - MOSiR Krosno 76-78

AZS PP - Astoria Bydg. 81-98

No shocking result in a game when thirteenth ranked Astoria Bydg. (4-7) beat bottom-ranked AZS PP (1-10) in Pozoan 98-81 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Astoria Bydg.. AZS PP managed to win fourth quarter 29-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Astoria Bydg. shot 33 for 51 from the free-throw line, while AZS PP only scored fourteen points from the stripe. Astoria Bydg. forced 25 AZS PP turnovers and had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Astoria Bydg. made 9 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for forward Dorian Szyttenholm (194-83) who led the winners and scored 9 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Astoria Bydg. will meet at home higher ranked P.Cukier SIDEn (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. AZS PP will play against the league's leader Slask Wroclaw (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.

Very expected game when 13th ranked SKK Siedlce (3-8) was smashed by fifth ranked MKS DG (7-4) in Dabrowa Gornicza 96-66 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by MKS DG. SKK Siedlce managed to win second period 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MKS DG shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by SKK Siedlce's players. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Grzegorz Grochowski (178-93) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 assists. Forward Michal Woloszyn (202-84) accounted for 18 points for the winning side. MKS DG's coach Wojciech Wieczorek felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Radoslaw Basinski (188-78) came up with 15 points and 5 assists and power forward Tomasz Deja (200-83) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for SKK Siedlce in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. MKS DG moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sokol Lancut and MOSiR Krosno. SKK Siedlce lost their sixth game in a row. Everything could happen in Pruszkow at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Znicz Basket and 11th ranked WIKANA Start had identical 4-6 record. This time Znicz Basket used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Lublin 73-65 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-65. It was an exceptional evening for forward Przemyslaw Szymanski (198-84) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). point guard Adrian Sulinski (185-89, agency: Promotex) accounted for 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Everything went according to plan when third ranked Stal Ostrow (8-3) defeated on the road 15th ranked UMKS Kielce (3-8) 77-68 on Saturday. UMKS Kielce trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 21-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 68-77 at the end of the game. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Wojciech Zurawski (199-76) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Wojciech Szawarski (195-76) accounted for 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Four Stal Ostrow players scored in double figures. Guard Artur Busz (194-88) came up with 18 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Hubert Makuch (179-85) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for UMKS Kielce in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Stal Ostrow moved-up to second place, which they share with AZS Kutno. UMKS Kielce lost their third game in a row. UMKS Kielce at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. They share it with SKK Siedlce. Stal Ostrow will meet at home league's second-placed AZS Kutno in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. AZS Kutno - Slask Wroclaw 55-96

An interesting game for Slask Wroclaw (10-1) which played road game in Kutno against second-ranked AZS Kutno (8-3). First ranked Slask Wroclaw had an easy win 96-55. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of AZS Kutno. The game without a history. Slask Wroclaw led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to AZS Kutno's 24 and made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Slask Wroclaw especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. AZS Kutno was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for the former international guard Pawel Kikowski (193-86, agency: Limelight Hoops) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Lukasz Diduszko (197-86) helped adding 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four Slask Wroclaw players scored in double figures. Power forward Wojciech Glabas (207-90) responded with 10 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Krzysztof Jakobczyk (183-86) scored 10 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Slask Wroclaw have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-1 record. AZS Kutno at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with Stal Ostrow. Slask Wroclaw will play against bottom-ranked AZS PP (#16) in Pozoan in the next round which should be another easy win for them. AZS Kutno will play on the road against Stal Ostrow (#3) in Ostrow Wlkp. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
