TBL is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 11 rounds left.

Ninth-ranked Polpharma (3-8) was very close to win a game against first ranked PGE Turow (8-2) in Zgorzelec on Friday. PGE Turow managed to secure only two-point victory 77-75. However their fans expected much easier game. Polpharma trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 23-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 75-77 at the end of the game. Serbian guard Djordje Micic (195-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 6 assists. The former international guard Michal Chylinski (190-G-86, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American power forward Ben McCauley (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) answered with 31 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for Polpharma. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. PGE Turow have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-2 record. Polpharma lost third consecutive game.
