There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The most exciting game of round 10 in the 2Liga took place in Pila. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (5-3) to seventh ranked Basket Pila (4-4) 80-77 on Sunday evening. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Basket Pila outrebounded Ksiezak Lowicz 45-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Ksiezak Lowicz helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Lukasz Krzeminski (200-F-80) fired 28 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Karol Michalek (207-87, agency: Promotex) chipped in 13 points and 12 rebounds. Basket Pila's coach Janusz Wierzbicki used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Tomasz Smorawinski (189-87) produced 20 points for lost side. Basket Pila moved-up to fifth place in Group A, which they share with MKS Skierniew. and Trefl II Sopot. Ksiezak Lowicz at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Korsarz Gdansk and SMS PZKosz. Basket Pila is looking forward to face Suchy Las (#10) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Ksiezak Lowicz will play against the league's second-placed SMS PZKosz (#2) in Wladyslawowo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Radom. Fifth ranked Rosa II Radom (4-4) saved a 2-point victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers Pulaski Warka (3-5) 91-89 in the game for the fourth place. Worth to mention a great performance of Filip Zegzula (185-94) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 4 assists. Jakub Schenk contributed with 14 points and 9 assists for the winners. Rosa II Radom's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Forward Patryk Przyborowski (196-90, agency: Promotex) replied with 30 points for Pulaski Warka. Rosa II Radom moved-up to fourth place in Group C. Pulaski Warka at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Rosa II Radom will play against league's leader MCKiS Jaworz. in Jaworzno in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Pulaski Warka will play at home against Handlopex AZS (#6) in Rzeszow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a home loss of second ranked SMS PZKosz (5-3) against ninth ranked Notec (2-6) on Saturday night. Host SMS PZKosz was defeated by Notec in a tough game in Wladyslawowo 78-83. Mikolaj Grod scored 31 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Leszek Kaczmarski responded with 20 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). SMS PZKosz's coach Arkadiusz Miloszewski tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Notec maintains ninth position in Group A with 2-6 record. Loser SMS PZKosz keeps the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Korsarz Gdansk and Ksiezak Lowicz. Notec will meet at home higher ranked Trefl II Sopot (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. SMS PZKosz will play against Ksiezak Lowicz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Tychy (6-3) against fifth ranked WKK Wroclaw (6-3) on Saturday night. Visiting Tychy was defeated by WKK Wroclaw in Wroclaw 90-73. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Tychy. Bartosz Diduszko notched 30 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) to lead the effort. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. WKK Wroclaw have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with defeated Tychy. WKK Wroclaw's next round opponent will be league's second-placed GTK Gliwice on the road and it may be the game of the week. Tychy will play against AZS AWF K-ce in Katowice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (5-3) against ninth ranked Wisla AWF Kr. (3-5) on Sunday night. Visiting Tur Bielsk Pdl. was edged by Wisla AWF Kr. in a tough game in Krakow 74-76. Jacek Sulowski fired 26 points for the winners. Wisla AWF Kr.'s coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Wisla AWF Kr. moved-up to fifth place in Group C, which they share with 4 other teams. Tur Bielsk Pdl. lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with three games lost. Wisla AWF Kr. will face Legia (#10) in Warszawa in the next round where they are favorite. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will play at home against Novum Lublin (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Rest of the games of round 10 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
In Group A Suchy Las was defeated by GTK Gdynia in a road game 84-79. Trefl II Sopot smashed MKS Skierniew. at home 88-65. Wilki Morskie won against Korsarz Gdansk on the opponent's court 98-90.
In Group B Sudety managed to outperform Nysa Klodzko in a home game 70-62. GTK Gliwice rolled over Wschowa on the road 83-45. AZS AWF K-ce crushed HK Zory on its own court 106-83. Alba Chorzow was smashed by Pogon Prudnik in a road game 93-73.
In Group C Handlopex AZS destroyed Legia at home 69-43. AZS AGH Alstom unfortunately lost to Novum Lublin on the opponent's court 71-81.
The best stats of 10th round was 28 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists by Marcin Stoklosa of Wilki Morskie.


Group A
GTK Gdynia - Suchy Las 84-79

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Suchy Las (1-7) were defeated on the road by eighth ranked GTK Gdynia (3-5) 84-79 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Suchy Las won third quarter 22-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. GTK Gdynia made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. GTK Gdynia outrebounded Suchy Las 38-25 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Suchy Las were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Przemyslaw Zolnierewicz (170-95) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Robert Kolka (184-93) chipped in 25 points. Jakub Fiszer (185-95) produced 15 points and forward Szymon Michalik (195-95) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted GTK Gdynia maintains eighth position in Group A with 3-5 record. Suchy Las at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the tenth place with seven games lost. GTK Gdynia will face league's leader Wilki Morskie in Szczecin in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Suchy Las will play at home against Basket Pila (#6).
