Twelfth-ranked Rosa Radom (3-10) gave a tough game to first ranked PGE Turow (9-2) on Saturday. The visitors from Zgorzelec managed to secure only three-point victory 79-76. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-14. But Rosa Radom won second period 15-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 25 personal fouls committed by Rosa Radom helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian point guard Vukasin Aleksic (184-85, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 4 assists and the former international power forward Damian Kulig (206-87) who added 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Serbian guard Nikola Vasojevic (195-86, agency: BeoExcell) with 18 points and 6 assists. Rosa Radom's coach Mariusz Karol rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. PGE Turow have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-2 record. Newly promoted Rosa Radom stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. PGE Turow are looking forward to face Asseco Prok. (#6) in Gdynia in the next round where they are favorite.
