Second ranked CCC Polkowice blasted bottom-ranked PTK Pabianice (0-13) in Pabianice 80-49 on Sunday evening. PTK Pabianice is still unable to win any game. The game without a history. CCC Polkowice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. CCC Polkowice forced 28 PTK Pabianice turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by PTK Pabianice's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American power forward Nnemkadi Ogwumike (189-90, college: Stanford) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Magdalena Leciejewska (191-86) who added 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international point guard Agata Gajda (175-80) responded with 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CCC Polkowice have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Newly promoted PTK Pabianice still closes the standings with 13 games lost. CCC Polkowice are looking forward to face AZS Rzeszow (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. PTK Pabianice will play against Lider Pruszkow and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last two games of round 16 Lider Pruszkow won against Widzew on the opponent's court 69-52. Wisla Can-Pak managed to outperform Gorzow in a home game 74-56.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 23 points and 6 rebounds by Alana Beard of Wisla Can-Pak.

Very expected game in Lodz where 10th ranked Widzew (1-12) was defeated by sixth ranked Lider Pruszkow (7-6) 69-52 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Lider Pruszkow. Widzew managed to win fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lider Pruszkow forced 20 Widzew turnovers and outrebounded them 40-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Briana Gilbreath (185-90, college: USC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Kiara Buford (180-89, college: Minnesota, agency: Gamble Sports Management) who added 22 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Aleksandra Pawlak (189-84) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Lidia Kopczyk (171-88, agency: Promotex) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lider Pruszkow moved-up to fifth place. Widzew lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 12 games lost. Lider Pruszkow are looking forward to face bottom-ranked PTK Pabianice (#11) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Widzew will play against the league's second-placed Artego Bydg. in Bydgoszcz and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.

Rather predictable result in Krakow where third ranked Wisla Can-Pak (10-2) defeated 5th ranked AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (6-6) 74-56 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 39-18 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Wisla Can-Pak dominated on the defensive end, holding AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski to just 4 points in third quarter. They made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Wisla Can-Pak forced 20 AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
