There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with change at the leadership position, favorites losing the games and even winless team recording their first victory.

There was a change at the 2Liga leadership position after last games. Round 12 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Pogon Prudnik (9-2). They were crushed by fifth ranked Tychy (7-4) 87-66 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pogon Prudnik. The game was mostly controlled by Tychy. Pogon Prudnik managed to win fourth quarter 27-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tychy dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Pogon Prudnik's 32. Tychy forced 22 Pogon Prudnik turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Tomasz Bzdyra (196-83) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Lukasz Bodych (204-90, agency: Promotex) who added 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Jaroslaw Pawlowski (194-80) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tychy moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with GTK Gliwice. Pogon Prudnik at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with AZS AWF K-ce. They were replaced at the leadership position by Wilki Morskie. Pogon Prudnik will play next round against GTK Gliwice trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Tychy will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Alba Chorzow on the road.
Important game to mention about took place in Gliwice. Second ranked AZS AWF K-ce (9-2) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 4th ranked GTK Gliwice (7-4) 72-71 on Saturday evening. The winners were led by guard Marcin Ecka (184-78) who scored that evening 15 points and 4 assists and Tomasz Milewski supported him with 13 points. Even 20 points by guard Tomasz Wrobel (180-85) did not help to save the game for GTK Gliwice. AZS AWF K-ce have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of Group B leader, which they share with Pogon Prudnik. GTK Gliwice at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Tychy. AZS AWF K-ce will play against Nysa Klodzko (#10) in Kloszko in the next round and are hoping to win another game. GTK Gliwice will play on the road against the league's second-placed Pogon Prudnik (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Bielsk Podlaski. One of their biggest challengers host Tur Bielsk Pdl. (6-4) lost to second ranked PWiK Piaseczno (7-2) 91-83. The best player for the winners was Michal Wojtynski who scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Aaron Weres who recorded 26 points. Tur Bielsk Pdl.'s coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. PWiK Piaseczno maintains second position in Group C with 7-2 record having just three points less than leader Wilki Morskie. Loser Tur Bielsk Pdl. keeps the third place with four games lost. PWiK Piaseczno will meet at home Novum Lublin (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will play against Rosa II Radom (#7) and hope to secure a win.
Wschowa has finally registered their first victory this season after ten consecutive loses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Katowice, where they defeated Mickiewicz (4-7) 84-73. It was a good game for Pawel Jaworski who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Wschowa maintains eleventh position in Group B with 1-10 record. Mickiewicz at the other side keeps the seventh place with seven games lost. Wschowa's next round opponent will be higher ranked Sudety (#6) in Jelenia Gora and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
2Liga top team - Wilki Morskie (9-1) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked Basket Pila (4-6) in Szczecin 92-88. Worth to mention a quality performance of Pawel Kowalczuk who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Wilki Morskie's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. They have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Wilki Morskie maintains first position in Group A with 9-1 record. Newly promoted Basket Pila dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. Wilki Morskie will face Ksiezak Lowicz (#4) on the road in the next round. Basket Pila will play against MKS Skierniew. in Skierniewice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
