The game between second ranked Asseco Prok. (10-5) and fourth ranked Stelmet ZG (10-5) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Asseco Prok. was defeated by Stelmet ZG in a tough game in Zielona Gora 74-83. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Asseco Prok.. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-16. But Asseco Prok. won second period 21-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Stelmet ZG made 29-of-33 free shots (87.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Asseco Prok. turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Asseco Prok. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: Beo Basket) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) helped adding 10 points and 10 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Lukasz Koszarek (187-84) with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Asseco Prok.'s coach Andrzej Adamek rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Stelmet ZG moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Asseco Prok. Stelmet ZG is looking forward to face league's leader Trefl Sopot on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Asseco Prok. will play against the league's second-placed PGE Turow in Zgorzelec and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
10th ranked Kotwica (4-11) was outscored at home by second ranked Trefl Sopot (11-4) with the biggest margin this round 76-54. It was a quality performance for the former international forward Filip Dylewicz (202-80) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Frank Turner accounted for 9 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Trefl Sopot's coach Mariusz Niedbalski felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Demetrius Brown (201-83, college: San Jose St.) came up with 15 points and 7 rebounds for Kotwica in the defeat. Trefl Sopot have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with PGE Turow. Kotwica at the other side keeps the tenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Start Gdynia. Trefl Sopot will play against Stelmet ZG (#3) in Zielona Gora in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Kotwica will play on the road against Start Gdynia (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 15: Start Gdynia lost to AZS Koszalin on the opponent's court 63-68. AZS Koszalin - Start Gdynia 68-63

Very expected game when 10th ranked Start Gdynia (4-11) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked AZS Koszalin (9-6) 68-63. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. AZS Koszalin forced 20 Start Gdynia turnovers. Start Gdynia was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Energa Czarni - Polpharma 81-85

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Slupsk where eighth ranked Polpharma (6-9) defeated 7th ranked Energa Czarni (8-7) 85-81. It looked good early as Energa Czarni took an 10-point lead at the end of first quarter.
