It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Trefl Sopot. Dejan Borovnjak fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Stelmet ZG moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Trefl Sopot. Stelmet ZG will face Start Gdynia (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Trefl Sopot will play against the league's leader PGE Turow (#1) in Zgorzelec and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 16 Kotwica was defeated by Start Gdynia in a road game 66-64. Asseco Prok. was beaten by PGE Turow at home 77-90. Energa Czarni was destroyed by Anwil on the opponent's court 78-57. Polpharma outscored AZS Koszalin in a home game 96-73.

Polpharma looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. AZS Koszalin was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch.
