Center Mateusz Fatz (205-C-96) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Astoria Bydg., receiving a Eurobasket.com 1Liga Player of the Week award for round 28. The 20-year old player had a double-double of 31 points and 11 rebounds, while his team The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Astoria Bydg. maintains the 15th position in Polish 1Liga. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 21 games and recorded just seven victories. Fatz has many years of experience at Astoria Bydg., through which he has constantly improved. Mateusz Fatz averages this season 10.9ppg and 5.8rpg.
The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old Marek Piechowicz (201-SF-88) of GKS Tychy. Piechowicz had a very good evening with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course GKS Tychy cruised to a 84-77 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Legia W-wa (#2, 21-7). GKS Tychy's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 18-10 record is not bad and everything may still change. Piechowicz is well-known at GKS Tychy and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.
Third on the list of top players last round was guard Rafal Wojciechowski (192-G-85) of Nysa Klodzko (#16). Wojciechowski got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . He was a key player of Nysa Klodzko, leading his team to a 100-89 win against Astoria Bydg. (7-21). Nysa Klodzko can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 7-21 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Too bad for Wojciechowski he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Wojciechowski has a very solid season. In 26 games in Poland he scored 7.9ppg.

We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
