There was no lack of interesting games this round. The round ended with extra overtimes, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Ostrow Wlkp.. 4th placed host Stal Ostrow (11-8) was smashed by first ranked Slask Wroclaw (18-1) 87-64. The game was mostly controlled by Slask Wroclaw. Stal Ostrow managed to win second period 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Slask Wroclaw dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Stal Ostrow's 30. It was a great evening for center Krzysztof Sulima (202-90) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). point guard Marcin Flieger (182-84, agency: Promotex) helped adding 21 points. Slask Wroclaw's coach Jerzy Chudeusz felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side point guard Filip Matczak (186-93) responded with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Slask Wroclaw have an impressive series of eighteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 18-1 record. Stal Ostrow lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Sokol Lancut and MOSiR Krosno. Slask Wroclaw are looking forward to face WIKANA Start (#10) in Lublin in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stal Ostrow will play on the road against Polonia (#11) in Przemysl and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
Bottom-ranked UMKS Kielce managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the series of nine consecutive loses. This time newly promoted UMKS Kielce won against fifteenth-ranked AZS PP 82-76. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Marcin Wrobel (200-87) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Rafal Krol accounted for 19 points. point guard Pawel Hybiak (173-89) came up with 14 points and 6 assists for AZS PP in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. UMKS Kielce (4-16) moved-up to fifteenth place. AZS PP at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the bottom position with 16 games lost. UMKS Kielce will play against higher ranked P.Cukier SIDEn (#7) in Torun in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. AZS PP will play at home against the league's second-placed AZS Kutno (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
Twelfth-ranked AZS Radex (8-11) gave a tough game to third ranked MKS DG (13-6) in Dabrowa Gornicza on Saturday. MKS DG managed to secure only seven-point victory 84-77. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of AZS Radex. Marek Piechowicz fired 25 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Lukasz Biela produced 21 points for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. MKS DG maintains third place with 13-6 record having five points less than leader Slask Wroclaw. Loser AZS Radex keeps the twelfth position with 11 games lost. MKS DG will meet MOSiR Krosno (#5) on the road in the next round. AZS Radex will play against Znicz Basket (#9) in Pruszkow and hope to secure a win.
The game in Lancut was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked MOSiR Krosno (11-8) played at the court of seventh ranked Sokol Lancut (11-8). Sokol Lancut managed to secure a 4-point victory 72-68. Worth to mention a great performance of Kacper Mlynarski who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds. MOSiR Krosno's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sokol Lancut moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Stal Ostrow and MOSiR Krosno. Sokol Lancut's next round opponent will be Spojnia (#8) in Stargard. MOSiR Krosno will play at home against MKS DG (#3) in Dabrowa Gornicza and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Lublin. Eleventh ranked WIKANA Start (9-10) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 13th ranked Astoria Bydg. (7-12) 71-70 on Saturday evening. WIKANA Start's coach Dominik Derwisz used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. WIKANA Start moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Astoria Bydg. keeps the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. WIKANA Start will face league's leader Slask Wroclaw on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Astoria Bydg. will play against SKK Siedlce (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
