Miroslaw
Wysocki
25-year old center Miroslaw Wysocki (213-C-87) had a very impressive game in the last round for Tur Bielsk Pdl. and receives a Eurobasket.com 2Liga Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed Handlopex AZS (#8, 4-8) with 19-point margin 98-79. Tur Bielsk Pdl. maintains the 3rd position in Polish 2Liga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will need more victories to improve their 7-5 record. Wysocki has many years of experience at Tur Bielsk Pdl., through which he has constantly improved. Wysocki has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 8.3rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 50.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Bartosz Diduszko (198-F/G-87) of WKK Wroclaw. He is former international swingman in his second season at WKK Wroclaw. In the last game Diduszko recorded impressive double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he lead WKK Wroclaw to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Wschowa (#11, 1-12) 80-53. WKK Wroclaw's 3rd position in group B has not changed. His team's 10-4 record is not bad at all. Diduszko is well-known at WKK Wroclaw and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Michal Weiss (188-G-82) of Nysa Klodzko (#10). Weiss scored 20 points and passed four assists. Despite Weiss' great performance Nysa Klodzko lost 76-88 to the higher-ranked Alba Chorzow (#7, 5-9). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Nysa Klodzko can only dream about fighting for top spots in group B. They have rather bad season and 3-11 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Weiss he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Weiss has a very solid season. In 7 games in Poland he scored 10.7ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jaroslaw Pawlowski (194-F-80) of Pogon Prudnik - 21 points and 13 rebounds
5. Kamil Zakrzewski (193-F-77) of Tur Bielsk Pdl. - 24 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists
6. Aaron Weres (196-F-91) of Tur Bielsk Pdl. - 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Kamil Nowak (196-F-88) of AZS AWF K-ce - 11 points and 11 rebounds
8. Jakub Czech (203-F-84) of Sudety - 10 points and 11 rebounds
9. Arkadiusz Zabielski (195-F-84) of Tur Bielsk Pdl. - 16 points and 7 rebounds
10. Lukasz Wojcik (189-G-84) of Alba Chorzow - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
