Here is the weekly review of the top performing Polish players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former international swingman Agnieszka Bibrzycka (184-82, agency: Data Plus Group, college: Abil.Christian, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Turkey. She could not help Fenerbahce (8-3) to beat Good Angels (9-2). Bibrzycka recorded 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 21 minutes on the court. But the second-placed Fenerbahce was edged 66-63 on the road by the leading Good Angels in the group B of Euroleague. It was Fenerbahce's first loss after four consecutive victories. Her team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Bibrzycka has relatively good stats this year: 12.4ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.8apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 55.4%(31-56), 3FGP: 40.9% and FT: 90.9%(20-22) in the 11 games she played so far. She played for the Polish senior national team four years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former U20 international guard Katarzyna Cymmer (172-89, currently plays in Hungary). Cymmer led Cegledi EKK to a victory over the sixth-ranked MBK Eurl.Vasas (2-21) 68-60 in the Hungarian A Division last Wednesday. She was MVP of the game. Cymmer scored 23 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Cegledi EKK (9-13) is placed fourth in Places 9-14 group. It's Cymmer's first season with the team. This year she averages: 9.6ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.6apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 43.0% and FT: 77.8%. Cymmer played for the Polish U20 national team in 2009.

   #3. The Polish player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Patrycja Gulak-Lipka (192-82, college: Massachusetts, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A1. She was not able to help Orvieto (3-10) in their last game. Despite Gulak-Lipka's very good performance Orvieto was edged 68-66 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked (#5) Umbertide. She was the second best scorer with 15 points. Gulak-Lipka also added 8 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 45 minutes. It was Orvieto's eighth consecutive loss in a row. This year Gulak-Lipka's overall stats are: 4.6ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 37.1% and FT: 72.7% in the 13 games. She is also a member of the Polish senior national team.

   #4. An experienced forward Magdalena Losi (173-80, agency: Promotex, currently plays in Italy) was the main contributor in a TEC-MAR Crema's victory against the 13th-ranked Cremona (4-15) 57-51 in the Italian A2 (12th division) in Wednesday night's game. Losi was the best player in that game. She scored 19 points. TEC-MAR Crema (12-7) is placed fourth in North group. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Losi is currently second on the league's list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (fourth place). She has individually a very good season with high stats. Losi averages: 17.7ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.7apg and 2.4spg. She is also Polish national team player.

   #5. International center Aleksandra Chomac (191-85, also represented by Promotex, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Katarzyna Cymmer and both played together in the last Hungarian A Division game. Chomac contributed to a Cegledi EKK's victory against the sixth-ranked MBK Eurl.Vasas (2-21) 68-60. She scored 8 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 29 minutes. This year Chomac's total stats are: 9.0ppg, 9.0rpg and 2.0apg in the two games. She plays currently for the Polish national team.

   #6. Power forward Natalia Mrozinska (191-84, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Katarzyna Cymmer. She played also in the last Hungarian A Division game facing Aleksandra Chomac (above) in the other team. Mrozinska helped Cegledi EKK win their game against the sixth-ranked MBK Eurl.Vasas (2-21) 68-60. She scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Mrozinska is currently eighth on the league's list of top scorers. She has very reliable stats this season: 13.2ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.1apg. Mrozinska is a former international player as she played for the Polish senior team eight years ago.

Former University international center Karolina Piotrkiewicz (190-84, agency: LBM Management, college: Liberty, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A2 (12th division) was not able to secure a victory for Valmadrera (6-12) in their last game. Despite her good performance Valmadrera (#11) lost 52-64 on the opponent's court to the lower-ranked (#13) Cremona in the North group. Piotrkiewicz had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 10 rebounds in a mere 18 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Piotrkiewicz is currently third on the league's list of best rebounders with 10.4rpg. This year her other stats are: 10.7ppg in the 18 games. Piotrkiewicz used to play for the Polish university national team six years ago.

   #8. Power forward Joanna Walich (183-81, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Conquero (4-10) in their game against Gran Canaria (6-8) in the Spanish LFB. She scored only 4 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 29 minutes. Conquero lost 70-76 in Las Palmas to the higher-ranked (#8) Gran Canaria. Walich is currently third on the league's list of top scorers with 16.5ppg. This year she also averages: 5.4rpg and 1.3spg in the 13 games. Walich plays currently for the Polish national team.

Former University international guard Magdalena Gawronska (168-83, another player represented by Promotex, currently plays in Germany) couldn't help Herner TC (3-12) in their game against Rhein Main Baskets (6-9) in the German DBBL. She scored 7 points and added 4 passes in 29 minutes. The bottom-ranked Herner TC was badly defeated 85-68 in Langen by the higher-ranked (#9) Rhein Main Baskets. It was Herner TC's fifth consecutive loss in a row. Gawronska has averaged so far 5.5ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.5apg in the 13 games. She used to play for the Polish university national team six years ago.

Forward Mirela Pultorak (186-88, currently plays in Germany) couldn't help Friendsfactory Germering (4-9) in their game against Speyer / Schifferstadt (2-1) in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division). Pultorak cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 3 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Friendsfactory Germering (#9) was crushed 97-73 in Dudenhofen by the higher-ranked Speyer / Schifferstadt (#6) in the South group. It was Friendsfactory Germering's fifth consecutive loss in a row. Pultorak has averaged so far 6.2ppg and 4.7rpg. She is a former university international player as two years ago she still played for the Polish national team.

The list of other players, who all have Polish passport but never been selected to any of Polish national teams:

   #1. Pauline Krawczyk (182-F-85, currently plays in Euroleague) managed to help Cercle Jean Mace Bourges in a victory against the fifth-ranked UNI Gyor (5-7) 65-59 in the Euroleague last Thursday. Krawczyk recorded only 3 points in 15 minutes. Cercle Jean Mace Bourges (8-3) is placed second in group A. Her team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This year Krawczyk's total stats are: 2.6ppg and 1.3rpg in the 10 games she played so far. She has a dual citizenship: Polish and French.

   #2. Klaudia Grudzien (183-F-90, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division) could not help Goettingen (14-5) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Grudzien's good performance Goettingen (#2) was crushed 72-45 at home by the leading ChemCats Chemnitz in the North group. She recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 11 rebounds. Grudzien also added 3 assists. Grudzien has individually a very good season with high stats. She averages: 15.1ppg, 8.0rpg and 3.1apg.

   #3. Nadzeya Drozd (174-G-83, currently plays in Belarus) led Olimpia GrGAU to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Sozh Gomel (5-8) crushing them 86-62 in the Belarusian Premier League in Wednesday night's game. She recorded 12 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. SBK Olimpia Grodno (12-0) is placed first in the Premier League. So far her team won all twelve games in the Second Stage. They will play only one more game in the Second Stage. Drozd is the league's best passer and also on the list of most steals (third place). This season she has very good stats: 10.5ppg, 4.0rpg, 5.9apg and 2.9spg. Drozd is another player who holds two passports: Polish and Belarusian.

   #4. Katharina Fikiel (193-F/C-87, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a TSV 1880 Wasserburg's victory against the seventh-ranked Rotenburg/Scheessel (6-9) 77-71 in the German DBBL on Sunday night. She scored only 2 points. TSV 1880 Wasserburg (12-2) is placed first in the DBBL. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Fikiel is currently fourth on the league's list of best blockers. She has averaged so far 8.6ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.5apg. Fikiel has both Polish and German nationalities.

Energa Torun - Artego Bydg. 67-68 Artego nipped Energa Torun on the road to even the series at 1-1. Artego Bydg. forced 19 Energa Torun turnovers. Jamierra Faulkner gets MVP of the Week award for Polish TBLK - 11 days ago
American Jamierra Faulkner (168-PG-92) put on an amazing game in the last round for CCC Polkowice and that's her to receive a Player of the Week award for round 22. The 24-year old playmaker had the game-high 32 points adding three rebounds and six assists for CCC Polkowice in her team's victory, helping them to outclass MKK Siedlce (#10, 4-18) with 37-point margin 103-66. TBLK Round 22: Sleza Wroclaw keeps a leadership position - 12 days ago
The Regular Season in TBLK just ended. The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Sleza Wroclaw as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Sleza Wroclaw smashed 9th ranked JAS FBG at home 91-51. Sleza Wroclaw dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to JAS FBG's 32.
