Here is the weekly review of the top performing Polish players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former international swingman Agnieszka Bibrzycka (184-82, agency: Data Plus Group, college: Abil.Christian, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TKBL. She could not help Fenerbahce (17-2) in their last game. Despite Bibrzycka's very good performance the league leader Fenerbahce was edged 87-84 on the road by the lower-ranked (#5) Tarsus Bld. She was the second best scorer with 18 points. Bibrzycka also added 4 rebounds and 4 assists in 29 minutes on the court. It was Fenerbahce's first loss after three consecutive victories. Bibrzycka has relatively good stats this year: 12.5ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.1apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 52.4%, 3FGP: 37.5% and FT: 83.3% in the 13 games she played so far. She played for the Polish senior national team four years ago.

Magdalena Losi

   #2. Second place goes to an experienced international forward Magdalena Losi (173-80, agency: Promotex, currently plays in Italy). She led TEC-MAR Crema to a victory over the fifth-ranked Udine (12-8) crushing them 67-42 in the Italian A2 (12th division) on Sunday night. Losi was MVP of the game. She scored 21 points in 25 minutes. TEC-MAR Crema (13-7) is placed fourth in North group. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Losi's first season with the team. Losi is the league's top scorer and also on the list of best passers (fifth place). She has individually a very good year with high stats. Losi averages: 17.9ppg, 4.2rpg, 2.6apg, 2.3spg, 2FGP: 46.6%, 3FGP: 31.5% and FT: 81.4% in the 19 games. She is in the roster of the Polish senior national team.

Natalia Mrozinska

   #3. The Polish player who performed third best last week abroad was former international power forward Natalia Mrozinska (191-84, currently plays in Hungary), who plays in the Hungarian A Division. Mrozinska was not able to help Cegledi EKK (9-15) in their last game. Despite her very good performance the fourth-placed Cegledi EKK was crushed 84-60 in Zalaegerszeg by the second-ranked ZTE NKK in the Places 9-14 group. Mrozinska was the second best scorer with 16 points. She also added 4 rebounds (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line) in 29 minutes. Mrozinska is ranked ninth on the list of the top scorers in the league with 13.2ppg. This year she also averages: 5.6rpg, 2FGP: 44.1% and FT: 75.8% in the 21 games. Mrozinska played for the Polish national team eight years ago.

Katarzyna Cymmer

   #4. Guard Katarzyna Cymmer (172-89, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Natalia Mrozinska and both played together in the last Hungarian A Division game. Cymmer was not able to secure a victory for Cegledi EKK (9-15) in their game against ZTE NKK (17-6). She scored 9 points and had 3 steals. But Cegledi EKK (#4) was crushed 84-60 in Zalaegerszeg by the second-ranked ZTE NKK in the Places 9-14 group. Cymmer's overall stats this season are: 9.1ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.7apg and 1.9spg. She used to play for the Polish U20 national team back in 2009.

   #5. Former University international center Karolina Piotrkiewicz (190-84, agency: LBM Management, college: Liberty, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Valmadrera (6-14) in their game against San Martino (17-3) in the Italian A2 (12th division). She scored 7 points. Valmadrera (#11) was defeated 69-54 at home by the second-ranked San Martino in the North group. It was Valmadrera's fourth consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Piotrkiewicz is ranked seventh on the list of the best rebounders in the league. She has very reliable stats this season: 10.4ppg and 9.8rpg. Piotrkiewicz has a dual citizenship: Polish and French. She used to play for the Polish university national team six years ago.

   #6. Center Aleksandra Chomac (191-85, also represented by Promotex, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Natalia Mrozinska. She played also in the last Hungarian A Division game facing Katarzyna Cymmer (above) in the other team. Chomac couldn't help Cegledi EKK (9-15) in their game against ZTE NKK (17-6). She cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. Chomac scored only 2 points, had 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 17 minutes. Cegledi EKK (#4) was crushed 84-60 in Zalaegerszeg by the second-ranked ZTE NKK in the Places 9-14 group. This year Chomac's overall stats are: 8.3ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.5apg in the four games. She is an international player who is currently on the senior Polish National Team roster.

   #7. Former University international forward Mirela Pultorak (186-88, currently plays in Germany) couldn't help Friendsfactory Germering (5-10) in their game against Trier (2-14) in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division). She recorded only 4 points in 22 minutes. Friendsfactory Germering (#9) lost 42-51 on the opponent's court to the lower-ranked (#10) Trier in the South group. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Pultorak's total stats are: 5.5ppg and 4.5rpg in the 13 games. She used to play for the Polish university national team two years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Polish passport but never been selected to any of Polish national teams:

   #1. Klaudia Grudzien (183-F-90, currently plays in Germany) was the major contributor in Goettingen's victory against the fourth-ranked ASC Theresianum Mainz (2-1) 74-65 in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division) last Sunday. Grudzien recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 11 rebounds. She also added 4 assists. BG 74 Goettingen (16-5) is placed second in North group. Grudzien is currently seventh on the league's list of best passers. She has individually a very good season with high stats. Grudzien averages: 15.4ppg, 8.1rpg and 3.2apg.

   #2. Katharina Fikiel (193-F/C-87, currently plays in Germany) led TSV 1880 Wasserburg to a victory against the league leader Don Bosco Bamberg 72-59 in the German DBBL in Sunday night's game. Fikiel recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 11 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. TSV 1880 Wasserburg (14-2) is placed first in the DBBL. It was her team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. Fikiel's overall stats this season are: 8.8ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.6apg. She has a dual citizenship: Polish and German.

   #3. Nadzeya Drozd (174-G-83, currently plays in Belarus) contributed to an easy victory against the third-ranked Gorizont (10-6) 73-55 in the Belarusian Premier League in Wednesday night's game. Drozd recorded 16 points, 4 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals in 26 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group A. SBK Olimpia Grodno (15-1) is placed first. Her team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And that game will be critical. Drozd is the league's best passer and also on the list of most steals (first place). She has very reliable stats this year: 10.9ppg, 4.2rpg, 6.1apg and 3.0spg in the 14 games she played so far. Drozd is another player who holds two passports: Polish and Belarusian.

   #4. Angelika Miszkiel (188-F-87, currently plays in Czech Republic), who plays in the Czech Republic ZBL could not help Valosun Brno (10-11) to beat IMOS Brno (20-2). Miszkiel cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. She recorded only 2 points. Valosun Brno was badly defeated 77-58 in a derby game by the second-ranked IMOS Brno. The Regular Season already ended. Miszkiel's total stats this season are: 1.5ppg and 2.6rpg.

   #5. Martha Chrzanowski (185-F-83, currently plays in France) managed to help Elan Bearnais Pau Lacq Orthez to win in overtime against the closely-ranked Angers (12-5) 62-56 in the French LF2 (12th division) on Saturday night. Chrzanowski scored only 2 points. Elan Bearnais Pau Lacq Orthez (11-6) is placed fifth in the LF2. Chrzanowski has been at the team for four years. She has averaged so far 1.0ppg and 1.8rpg. Chrzanowski has both Polish and French nationalities.

FINAL Sleza Wroclaw - Wisla Can-Pack 73-57 Sleza outgunned Wisla in Wroclaw to secure 2-0 lead in the Finals. Sleza Wroclaw made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists.
