Ogwumike
Nigerian-American Nnemkadi Ogwumike (189-F/C-90) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader CCC Polkowice and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 22.
The 22-year old power forward had the game-high 29 points adding four rebounds for CCC Polkowice in her team's victory, helping them to beat Wisla Can-Pak (#3, 14-4) 75-61. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed CCC Polkowice to consolidate first place in the Polish PLKK. CCC Polkowice has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 17-1. In the team's last game Ogwumike had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. She turned to be CCC Polkowice's top player in her first season with the team. Stanford University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ogwumike is in league's top in points (2nd best: 18.2ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 8.7rpg) and averages solid 55.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old center Tina Charles (193-C-88, agency: LBM Management) of Wisla Can-Pak. Charles impressed basketball fans with 30 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Wisla Can-Pak lost that game 61-75 to slightly higher-ranked CCC Polkowice (#1, 17-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Wisla Can-Pak still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. Her team's 14-4 record is not bad at all. Charles is a newcomer at Wisla Can-Pak and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.5ppg (#9). She also registered 6.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Nicole Michael (188-G-87) of Energa Torun (#4). Michael scored 16 points and grabbed seventeen rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Energa Torun, leading her team to a 87-68 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Lider Pruszkow (#5, 11-7). Energa Torun needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 6 lost games. Michael has a great season in Poland. After 19 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.1rpg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Adrianne Ross (173-G-84) of Energa Torun - 24 points and 4 assists
5. Agnieszka Makowska (182-F-82) of Gorzow - 19 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Paulina Misiek (182-F-87) of Energa Torun - 15 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Julie McBride (165-G-82) of Artego Bydg. - 25 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists
8. Agnieszka Szott (185-F-82) of Artego Bydg. - 14 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Magdalena Bibrzycka (183-F-88) of AZS Rzeszow - 13 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Agnieszka Kaczmarczyk (188-F/C-89) of Lider Pruszkow - 19 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
