There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in TBL. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, extra overtimes and favorites losing the games.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked PGE Turow (14-5) in Kolobrzeg on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by tenth ranked Kotwica (6-14) 75-73. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of PGE Turow. PGE Turow was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 17-14 charge of Kotwica, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 19 PGE Turow turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kotwica made 7 blocks. 25 personal fouls committed by PGE Turow helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Sean Mosley (193-89, college: Maryland) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import center Ty Walker (213-89, college: Wake Forest) contributed with 9 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocks for the winners. The former international point guard Michal Chylinski (190-86, agency: Interperformances) replied with 15 points for PGE Turow. PGE Turow's coach Miodrag Rajkovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kotwica maintains tenth position with 6-14 record. PGE Turow at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost. Kotwica are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Rosa Radom (#12) on the road in the next round. PGE Turow will play against AZS Koszalin (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Stelmet ZG (14-6) against eighth ranked Polpharma (9-11) on Saturday night. Visiting Stelmet ZG was defeated by Polpharma in Starogard 102-88. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Stelmet ZG. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Ben McCauley (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds and Jawan Carter who added 21 points and 6 assists (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) during the contest. U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) responded with 29 points and 4 assists. Stelmet ZG's coach Mihailo Uvalin tested ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Polpharma maintains eighth position with 9-11 record. Stelmet ZG at the other side keeps the second place with six games lost. They share the position with Asseco Prok.. Polpharma will play against higher ranked Asseco Prok. (#3) in Gdynia in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Stelmet ZG will play on the road against the league's leader PGE Turow and will have a slim chance for a victory.
Twelfth-ranked Rosa Radom (4-16) was very close to win a game against seventh ranked AZS Koszalin (10-9) on Saturday. AZS Koszalin managed to secure only five-point victory 87-82. However their fans expected much easier game. The winners were led by Pawel Leonczyk who had that evening a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 27 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists by Nic Wise did not help to save the game for Rosa Radom. Rosa Radom's coach Wojciech Kaminski tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. AZS Koszalin maintains seventh position with 10-9 record. Newly promoted Rosa Radom stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost. AZS Koszalin will meet league's leader PGE Turow in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Rosa Radom will play against Kotwica (#10) in Kolobrzeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Sopot was also worth to mention about. One of their biggest challengers Anwil (12-8) played at the court of fifth ranked Trefl Sopot (13-7). Trefl Sopot did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 91-74. The best player for the winners was Adam Waczynski who scored 23 points and 4 assists. Anwil's coach Milija Bogicevic let to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Trefl Sopot moved-up to fourth place. Anwil at the other side dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. Trefl Sopot's next round opponent will be Siarka Jezioro (#9) in Tarnobrzeg where they are favorite. Anwil will play at home against Start Gdynia (#11).
The game between third ranked Asseco Prok. (14-6) and 9th ranked Siarka Jezioro (7-13) in Gdynia on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Asseco Prok. outscored guests from Tarnobrzeg 89-54. Adam Hrycaniuk orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Asseco Prok. have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Stelmet ZG. Loser Siarka Jezioro keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost. Asseco Prok. will face Polpharma (#8) in Starogard in the next round where they are favorite. Siarka Jezioro will play at home against Trefl Sopot.

In the last game of round 20 Energa Czarni smashed Start Gdynia on the road 97-64.
