After last Stelmet Zielona Gora league game, on Polish basketball web portals information appeared that two players from team Walter Hodge (183-PG-86, college: Florida) and Quinton Hosley (201-F/G-84, college: Fresno St.) wont play in All-Star game. Official reason: awful refereeing by Polish referees, which allegedly was unfair in view of the mentioned two. However, the meaning of the entire matter seems to lie somewhere else. According to unofficial info an author of entire confusion is Mr. Tarek Khrais Hodge and Hosley sport agent. Mr. Kharis accessed into the dispute with Polish league authorities, after an unsuccessful attempt of other transfer of his player Alexander Franklin (196-PF-88, college: Siena), which had to sign up contract with AZS Koszalin. In the face of the lack of the set of documents, in this lack of the free letter from the previous club (Soles de Mexicali) , the league refused the issuance of the license. Moreover a few days later information came from Mexico that a document hadn't been issued. In relation to above facts the Koszalin club decided to resign from Franklin, whereas is planning burdening the agent with all costs.
Meanwhile management of Stelmet Zielona Gora gave their opinion brightly in this matter: There is no possibility that players don't appear in the All-Star game said club chairman Mr. Czarkowski.
One should add, that in case of the lack of players on the All-Star game, the Zastal club can be burdened by the league with serious consequences so as suspending this two or even hanging the entire team.
What is interesting the entire case is being carefully kept up in.... Greece where supposedly a few clubs would see Hodge in their rosters.
The next episode of this story will follow probably after the All-Star Game which will be played on this Sunday.
