The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season.

The most exciting game of round 19 in the 2Liga took place in Sopot. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 4th placed Trefl II Sopot (8-7) to third ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (10-5) 59-56 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Trefl II Sopot. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 29-22 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Trefl II Sopot helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for point guard Bartosz Wluczynski (176-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Rafal Wojciechowski (188-85) helped adding 19 points. At the losing side swingman David Brembly (197-93) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Trefl II Sopot's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ksiezak Lowicz have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with SMS PZKosz. Trefl II Sopot at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Ksiezak Lowicz is looking forward to face GTK Gdynia (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Trefl II Sopot will play against the league's leader Wilki Morskie (#1) in Szczecin and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Prudnik. 3rd placed host Pogon Prudnik (12-5) lost to first ranked AZS AWF K-ce (14-3) 86-79. It was an exceptional evening for forward Mariusz Piotrkowski (197-84) who led the winners and scored 27 points. Kamil Nowak accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Jaroslaw Pawlowski (194-80) came up with 25 points and 9 rebounds for Pogon Prudnik in the defeat. AZS AWF K-ce maintains first place in Group B with 14-3 record. Pogon Prudnik at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. AZS AWF K-ce will play against Alba Chorzow (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pogon Prudnik will have a break next round.
The game in Chorzow supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked WKK Wroclaw (13-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Alba Chorzow (6-12). WKK Wroclaw smashed Alba Chorzow 93-67 on Sunday. Bartosz Diduszko fired 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Marcin Weselak produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. Alba Chorzow's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. WKK Wroclaw have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place in Group B with 13-4 record behind leader Wilki Morskie. Alba Chorzow lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Mickiewicz. WKK Wroclaw will meet at home HK Zory (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alba Chorzow will play against the league's leader AZS AWF K-ce in Katowice and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 19:
In Group A GTK Gdynia lost to Suchy Las on the opponent's court 86-96.
In Group B HK Zory outscored Wschowa in a home game 103-77. Mickiewicz recorded a loss to GTK Gliwice on the road 92-82. Tychy was defeated by Sudety on its own court 74-91.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 27 points and 12 rebounds by Adam Andula of HK Zory.

Suchy Las - GTK Gdynia 96-86

There was a minor upset when 8th ranked GTK Gdynia (5-11) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Suchy Las (3-13) 96-86 on Sunday. GTK Gdynia was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Point guard Piotr Wieloch (180-94) fired 17 points and 7 assists for the winners. Guard Damian Szymczak (186-95) chipped in 16 points. Guard Bartosz Wrobel (188-95) produced 22 points and forward Piotr Krauze (194-94) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Suchy Las maintains tenth place in Group A with 3-13 record. GTK Gdynia lost third consecutive game. GTK Gdynia at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Suchy Las will meet higher ranked Korsarz Gdansk (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. GTK Gdynia will play against Ksiezak Lowicz and hope to secure a win.

The game in Chorzow supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked WKK Wroclaw (13-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Alba Chorzow (6-12). WKK Wroclaw smashed Alba Chorzow 93-67 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by WKK Wroclaw. Alba Chorzow managed to win fourth quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. WKK Wroclaw dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Alba Chorzow's 34. WKK Wroclaw forced 24 Alba Chorzow turnovers. Rather predictable result when ninth ranked HK Zory (5-11) smashed at home 11th ranked Wschowa (2-15) 103-77 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 63-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. HK Zory dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Wschowa's 30 and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Wschowa 36-20 including 23 on the defensive glass. Center Adam Andula (205-87) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward Lukasz Ochodek (195-82) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Mickiewicz (6-12) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked GTK Gliwice (11-5) 92-82 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by GTK Gliwice. Mickiewicz managed to win second period 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 38-of-45 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game. We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when sixth ranked Sudety (10-6) beat on the road 5th ranked Tychy (10-7) 91-74 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a great shooting night for Sudety especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. The game between Top Four teams took place in Prudnik. 3rd placed host Pogon Prudnik (12-5) lost to first ranked AZS AWF K-ce (14-3) 86-79. It looked good early as Pogon Prudnik took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then AZS AWF K-ce had a 21-14 second period charge getting the lead and Pogon Prudnik was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 79-86. It was an exceptional evening for forward Mariusz Piotrkowski (197-84) who led the winners and scored 27 points. Forward Kamil Nowak (196-88) accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Forward Jaroslaw Pawlowski (194-80) came up with 25 points and 9 rebounds and guard Szymon Kucia (190-83) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for Pogon Prudnik in the defeat. Four AZS AWF K-ce and five Pogon Prudnik players scored in double figures. AZS AWF K-ce maintains first place in Group B with 14-3 record. Pogon Prudnik at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. AZS AWF K-ce will play against Alba Chorzow (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pogon Prudnik will have a break next round.
