Jakub Dluski
Forward Jakub Dluski (200-F-87) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked AZS Kutno, receiving a Eurobasket.com 1Liga Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 15 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Astoria Bydg. (#13, 10-15) 93-84. AZS Kutno maintains the 2nd position in Polish 1Liga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. AZS Kutno will need more victories to improve their 17-7 record. Dluski turned to be AZS Kutno's top player in his first season with the team. Jakub Dluski has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 16.1ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 9.5rpg) and averages impressive 57.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 29-year old Adam Metelski (208-C-83) of AZS PP. Metelski had a very good evening with a double-double of 16 points and 19 rebounds. Of course AZS PP cruised to a 68-59 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Spojnia (#7, 13-12). AZS PP's 15th position in the standings has not changed. 19 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories AZS PP managed to get this year. Metelski is a newcomer at AZS PP, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was former international forward Michal Gabinski (202-F-87) of league's top team Slask Wroclaw. Gabinski showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, five rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Slask Wroclaw, leading his team to a 90-79 win against the lower-ranked UMKS Kielce (#16, 4-22). Many experts and fans count Slask Wroclaw as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 24 victories and only one lost games. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Gabinski has a very solid season. In 13 games in Poland he scored 9.2ppg. He also has 6.5rpg and FGP: 50.7%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Radoslaw Hyzy (203-F-77) of Slask Wroclaw - 18 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Dawid Brek (185-PG-89) of AZS Kutno - 29 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists

10. Wojciech Glabas (207-F/C-90) of AZS Kutno - 18 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
