There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in 2Liga. There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, extra overtimes, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

Top ranked Wilki Morskie (14-2) recorded its second loss on the court of fourth ranked Trefl II Sopot on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Trefl II Sopot 73-62. It ended at the same time the 14-game winning streak of Wilki Morskie. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 44-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Trefl II Sopot dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Wilki Morskie's 30. Trefl II Sopot forced 21 Wilki Morskie turnovers. The best player for the winners was swingman David Brembly (197-93) who scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Lukasz Jaskiewicz (202-92) chipped in 7 points and 7 rebounds. Center Szymon Milczynski (203-93) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Trefl II Sopot maintains fourth position in Group A with 9-7 record. Wilki Morskie at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost. Trefl II Sopot are looking forward to face MKS Skierniew. (#7) in Skierniewice in the next round. Wilki Morskie will play at home against Korsarz Gdansk (#5) and is hoping to win this game.

Rest of the games of round 20 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
In Group A Ksiezak Lowicz defeated GTK Gdynia in a road game 80-62. SMS PZKosz smashed Basket Pila at home 84-58. Suchy Las lost to Korsarz Gdansk on the opponent's court 85-97. Notec managed to outperform MKS Skierniew. in a home game 66-65.
In Group B Alba Chorzow was rolled over AZS AWF K-ce on the road 82-50. Sudety was defeated by GTK Gliwice on its own court 72-84. Tychy beat Wschowa in a road game 73-69. WKK Wroclaw destroyed HK Zory at home 99-68. Nysa Klodzko was outscored by Mickiewicz on the opponent's court 81-59.
In Group C Rosa II Radom recorded a loss to Legia in a home game 58-72. Handlopex AZS crushed Wisla AWF Kr. on the road 78-57. Tur Bielsk Pdl. was beaten by AZS AGH Alstom on its own court 81-88.
The best stats of 20th round was 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by Patryk Andres of PWiK Piaseczno.



Group A
GTK Gdynia - Ksiezak Lowicz 62-80

There was no surprise when 9th ranked GTK Gdynia (5-12) was defeated at home by third ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (11-5) 80-62 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Ksiezak Lowicz. GTK Gdynia was better in fourth quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ksiezak Lowicz dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to GTK Gdynia's 38. The best player for the winners was forward Kacper Kromer (204-87) who scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Przemyslaw Malona (198-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Four Ksiezak Lowicz players scored in double figures. Swingman Przemyslaw Zolnierewicz (194-95) produced 17 points and point guard Artur Wlodarczyk (174-96) added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. GTK Gdynia's coach Wojciech Zeidler rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Ksiezak Lowicz have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with SMS PZKosz. GTK Gdynia lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. Ksiezak Lowicz will face Basket Pila (#6) at home in the next round. GTK Gdynia will play against Suchy Las and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

No shocking result in a game in Wladyslawowo where second ranked SMS PZKosz (11-5) smashed 5th ranked Basket Pila (7-9) 84-58 on Saturday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when SMS PZKosz's pressure prevailed and they won that period 30-10 extending their advantage to 26 points. SMS PZKosz forced 27 Basket Pila turnovers and outrebounded them 46-34 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was point guard Kamil Zywert (188-96) who scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Jakub Garbacz (196-94) chipped in 18 points and 4 steals. Four SMS PZKosz players scored in double figures. Very expected game when 10th ranked Suchy Las (3-14) were defeated on the road by sixth ranked Korsarz Gdansk (8-8) 97-85 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 97-85. Korsarz Gdansk shot 23 for 31 from the free-throw line, while Suchy Las only scored six points from the stripe. They outrebounded Suchy Las 30-11 including a 18-7 advantage in defensive rebounds. Suchy Las were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was center Piotr Konsek (208-89) who scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Jakub Zalucki (194-89) chipped in 19 points. Four Korsarz Gdansk players scored in double figures. Guard Damian Szymczak (186-95) produced 19 points and 4 assists and point guard Piotr Wieloch (180-94) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Korsarz Gdansk will face league's leader Wilki Morskie in Szczecin in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Suchy Las will play at home against GTK Gdynia (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Not a big story in a game in Katowice where 8th ranked Alba Chorzow (6-13) was outplayed by first ranked AZS AWF K-ce (15-3) 82-50 on Sunday. The game without a history. AZS AWF K-ce led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.4 percent from the field.
